Chimelong Hotel

Extremely satisfied with our stay at Chimelong Hotel! As soon as we entered, we were drawn in by the strong tropical resort vibe. The room was very clean, and the family-friendly amenities were excellent, making it very suitable for young children. The hotel's shuttle service made getting around convenient, saving us a lot of hassle. The staff were enthusiastic and the White Tiger Buffet dinner had an amazing ambiance. Our whole family had a fantastic time – it's definitely our top choice for family trips!

The indoor pool at the hotel charges a fee, seriously? Fine, I'll go to the outdoor pool then. But even there, you have to rent swimming rings for 15 each! And if all that wasn't enough, you'd at least expect the pool water to be clean, right? But no, there were used band-aids floating around. Can you believe it?

The hotel breakfast was delicious, and you could see white tigers, African red-crowned cranes, and flamingos at any time. It's also very close to Happy World and Water World. We went during the off-season, so there were fewer people, and we barely had to queue, which made for a great experience. Highly recommend!

We drove to Guangzhou Chimelong Hotel, and the journey from the car park to the lobby left a deep impression on us. The environment was beautiful, and there were clowns and mascots interacting and performing in the lobby, which we all loved! We met a very enthusiastic security guard in the lobby. He proactively showed us where to check in, and after we'd checked in, he even helped us with our luggage to our room. On the way, he told us about the various restaurants and delicious food in the hotel, as well as information about getting to the park and transportation routes. He particularly highlighted important tips for driving through the safari park's North Gate on the mini-train. Overall, the service at Chimelong Hotel is truly commendable and made our trip much more convenient. We'll definitely be back! It's worth praising and worth recommending to friends! We were very lucky to get a room upgrade to a more comfortable and spacious environment. The room was quiet with excellent soundproofing. The hotel's breakfast offered a mix of Chinese and Western options, catering to different preferences. Staying at the hotel also allowed us to enter the park half an hour earlier, saving us a lot of queuing time, which was a huge plus! The white tigers at the White Tiger Restaurant have been very active lately~

The room and bed were quite large, and they even provided an extra bed. The package included tickets to several parks, including a circus show. The hotel also had a big swimming pool and a bus service to all the parks. The staff were all very enthusiastic.

The service at Chimelong Hotel is excellent. A special shout-out to the young lady on the far right of the front desk, directly opposite the main entrance 👍. The lifeguards at the pool were very dedicated and professional 🍡. They were always responsive and provided great service! However, dining was inconvenient as outside food delivery isn't allowed, and the hotel's own food was expensive and not particularly good. This needs improvement.

When I checked in, there weren't many people, so I asked the front desk for an upgrade, which they usually grant. I was given a room on the top floor of Building 6. The room itself was average, neither good nor bad, with all the essentials. The cleanliness was okay, but I wouldn't look too closely. The housekeeping was decent. The soundproofing, however, was terrible; I could hear everything – people running and talking in the hallway late at night. The hotel has its own forest, which is actually quite nice. All the staff I encountered were very friendly. Now, for the big downside: the early access to the park for hotel guests was very limited. Also, the shuttle dropped us off not at the main entrance, but at a side path, which made me wonder if I was even in the right place. Other than that, everything else was fine, and the hotel + ticket package was affordable.

I want to give a huge shout-out to server Yang Xiaoying. My stay at Chimelong Hotel left a wonderful impression, largely thanks to her. After we checked in, Yang Xiaoying proactively reached out online to inform us about the hotel's various convenient services. Upon learning that we were traveling with elderly family members, she specifically reminded us that we could contact housekeeping if we needed any extra items for the room. She also patiently explained the hotel's internal routes to prevent us from getting lost in such a vast property. The Safari-themed room we stayed in was uniquely decorated and spotlessly clean. The carpets and sofa were free of stains and odors, and the bathroom facilities were well-maintained with a stable hot water supply. The desk and leisure sofa were fully equipped, making it suitable for both relaxing or doing some light work. The hotel's overall facilities are comprehensive, with a gym, bowling alley, and creative cultural shops all readily available. The garden environment is lush and green, with animal-themed decorations everywhere; walking around the hotel felt like being in a tropical jungle. The dining experience was equally impressive. The authentic Cantonese cuisine at Qilin Chinese Restaurant was delicious with fresh ingredients, and the service was consistently efficient. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of Northern and Southern Chinese dishes, ensuring everyone, from seniors to children, could find something they enjoyed. The hotel shuttle bus provides direct access to the various theme parks, and the luggage storage service was convenient and available as needed, greatly reducing our travel burden. Once again, I'd like to thank server Yang Xiaoying for her patient and attentive service. Her professionalism and warmth truly enhanced our trip.
