Ramada by Wyndham Pearl Guangzhou

Getting around by taxi is easy from the hotel, and food deliveries arrive quickly. The lobby is very comfortable, the swimming pool is clean, and the overall experience was excellent. The staff were friendly and the hotel's hygiene was meticulously maintained. The location is superb, right by the Pearl River, facing Ersha Island and with a view of Canton Tower. From the observation rooms, you can enjoy the beautiful night view of Canton Tower. While the room was a bit small, its other advantages more than made up for it.

The room facilities are quite old. The shower is located over the bathtub, which made bathing with a child very inconvenient! The soundproofing was terrible, and the air conditioning was extremely loud, so I barely slept all night. It was raining heavily when we checked in, and the window was leaking... The room view was great though, so I guess we paid for the Guangzhou scenery.

Although the hotel feels a bit dated, perhaps from around 2005, it's still clean and hygienic. The service was absolutely fantastic, especially from Ms. Wu at the front desk. We booked through Trip.com, and check-in was supposed to be at 3 PM, but we arrived at 12 PM and she immediately arranged for us to check in. She even gave us the best room, 2114, which offered a panoramic view of Canton Tower. Our child was captivated by the Canton Tower's night view every evening, writing poems and truly overflowing with creativity – it was so worth it! They wouldn't go to sleep until they'd had their fill of the Canton Tower's beauty.

I specifically chose a hotel with a view of Canton Tower, and the location was super convenient. From my room, I could see the entire Canton Tower, which made for amazing photos! The staff were also very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

This room is absolutely fantastic! The two-bedroom, two-living room, two-bathroom, and one-kitchen layout is just perfect! 😍 The spaciousness makes you feel incredibly comfortable, and every corner is utilized so well, with no wasted space. It's truly great value for money!

Great location with amazing night views, but the facilities are quite old and showing their age.

If you're looking to enjoy the night view of Canton Tower, then this place offers great value for money, no doubt about it. Everything else is pretty decent. It's got that old-school guesthouse vibe; the air conditioner panel, as you can see in the picture, is a real antique! 🤣 However, if you're on a business trip, the standards might fall a bit short – there's not much in terms of service, and check-in at the front desk was quite slow.
