Yingbin Hotel

The hotel is excellent! Baiyun Building has been newly renovated, and both the environment and service are great. They even offer welcome fruits and disposable slippers for hygiene, which are all thoughtful details! The only downside is that the Hongmian restaurant downstairs is just so-so; the sweet and sour pork was mediocre.

The hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of Yuexiu District, just a 3-minute walk from Exit D12 of Metro Line 1. It has its own courtyard, and the rooms are very clean and spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. When I mentioned to the front desk that my room was cold, the staff quickly brought me a heater, demonstrating outstanding service. The food at the Hongmian Restaurant on the first floor of Baiyun Tower is also delicious. Highly recommended.

This traditional five-star hotel is pretty standard. The room is spacious, though the bed is a tad firm. The location is excellent, not far from the main attractions, and getting a taxi is very convenient. There's also a bus stop right outside with several bus lines. Plus, there's a fantastic dim sum restaurant nearby that locals frequent, and the food is amazing.

This was my first solo trip, and for a sense of security, I chose the State Guesthouse next to the City Hall. It turned out to be incredible value for money! It was only about a hundred yuan more expensive than similarly located hotels like All Seasons or Orange, but it offered a tranquil garden setting away from the hustle and bustle. The facilities are a bit dated, but they're very well-maintained, and the small details are perfectly executed. While the hallway fragrance was a bit strong, the air in the room was incredibly fresh – not a hint of any unpleasant odors. The carpet in the room also had no strange smells, and you could choose your pillow and mattress. There was no dampness at all, and absolutely no odd smells! I was so impressed! Anyone sensitive to smells, especially smoke, will know exactly what I mean! A shout-out to the Hongmian Restaurant too; I had dim sum there for two breakfasts, and guests get a 10% discount~

This is an older, garden-style hotel with a great environment. Its excellent location means taxis nearby can get a bit stuck in traffic, but it's very accessible by metro and bus. There's an indoor pool, and plenty of dining options in the surrounding area.

Traveling solo in Guangzhou, I booked this hotel through Ctrip. Its location is fantastic – centrally located yet surprisingly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk from the subway, which was incredibly convenient for exploring. The room itself was over 50 square meters, feeling spacious and comfortable, and impeccably clean, beautifully blending traditional Lingnan design. Breakfast offered a great variety, especially the diverse selection of congees and exquisitely prepared dishes. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with a wonderful cultural ambiance!
