Guangzhou Jinxiu Xiangjiang Hot Spring City

The hardware facilities need improvement; they really require regular maintenance and updates. However, the service staff were praised by my whole family. We would consider staying here again for our next trip. Both adults and children had a great time playing in the water and hiking up the stream.

This was my second stay here. The first time, I booked a room with a balcony and a private hot tub, including breakfast and dinner, for around 1400 RMB. Later, I felt the hot tub wasn't really necessary, so for this second visit, I booked a standard room. You can even see the fireworks from Forest Sea at 8 PM! 😄 When checking out, the front desk lady even gave us some complimentary tofu pudding. In summary: a comfortable stay and a fun time! **Food:** If you're not a fan of buffets, there are plenty of farm-style restaurants nearby where you can find delicious and affordable food. You can also order takeout. I ordered milk tea and late-night snacks using the food delivery app as soon as I got back to the hotel – lol. **Activities:** The room rate includes a choice of 2 activities from 7 options. You just show the QR code on your phone to redeem them, which is very convenient. The first time, I didn't go to Dafengmen, so this time I left early. I went to the front desk first to exchange for the QR code for the tickets and went out to play, returning only when the hotel butler notified us that we could check in. I originally wanted to go rafting this time, but my child was too young, so we ended up doing paddleboarding, which was also a lot of fun (and I even rescued a little boy and two pairs of flip-flops!). For the second activity, we chose horseback riding at the hotel's own equestrian center, which my child absolutely loved. The hotel also has a small water park and a wave pool, and we spent the first evening and second morning playing in the hotel area.

The room was great! The breakfast offered a wide variety of options. My kids had an amazing time with all the activities at the hotel, they were super happy! They rode ponies, enjoyed the hot springs, and played at the water park!!

The villa king rooms vary in size; some are quite small, while others are very spacious. Overall, it's pretty good. The hot spring area is also quite large, but there are no herbal packs, so all the pools feel the same, without the various medicinal effects mentioned. Breakfast is just average. The kids' water park is small but quite fun.

Got a complimentary upgrade, the duvet was soft, and they even gave us a souvenir when checking out. The buffet was excellent.

Took the kids for a weekend getaway to Zengcheng Jinxiu Xiangjiang Hot Spring Resort, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations! I just have to rave about this hot spring hotel ❤️ ✅ Environment & Accommodation: The guest rooms were spotless, so hygiene was absolutely no concern. The rooms are incredibly spacious with expansive views, creating a perfect home-away-from-home vacation vibe. Surrounded by mountains and forests, the air is fresh, and the hot spring environment is incredibly therapeutic. ✅ Facilities: The resort offers a wide variety of hot springs with numerous pools, making both morning and evening soaks enjoyable. While the on-site water park isn't huge, the children's slides and splash areas are perfectly designed for little ones, keeping the kids entertained all day long. ✅ The warm and thoughtful service definitely deserves a special shout-out: The front desk check-in was efficient and friendly, and they kindly upgraded our room. Considering it would be inconvenient for the child to sleep, we contacted housekeeping to help combine the beds. The staff members were incredibly patient and went above and beyond to arrange everything perfectly, providing gentle and thorough service. Upon checkout, they even gifted us with a lovely souvenir, showing great attention to detail. Their signature tofu pudding is soft, sweet, and absolutely delicious – an unforgettable taste. All the staff were enthusiastic and meticulous in their service, ensuring all our needs as a family with children were well taken care of. The value for money is exceptional, making it highly suitable for short family getaways. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling with kids!

First, the downsides: the room facilities are indeed a bit old, which is understandable given the age of the hotel. Many rooms could use an upgrade in terms of hardware. Now, for the positives: despite the slightly older hardware, the service and management are truly excellent, surpassing many so-called star-rated chain hotels. The butler service is comprehensive and attentive. It's clear that even with the challenging economic environment, the owner is willing to invest in service and soft amenities. You can also catch a glimpse of the fireworks show from the neighboring Forest Sea at 8 PM. And I even noticed a collaboration with my alma mater in the owner's publication – quite a coincidence!

This hot spring hotel offers comprehensive room types, dining, facilities, and service. If the room rates, which include breakfast and dinner, could be adjusted slightly, it would attract more repeat customers. 😄😄 Ms. Chen Haiwa, the restaurant supervisor, has an excellent and very enthusiastic service attitude. 👍

I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it for another night. I also took the opportunity to visit the nearby Baishuizhai Scenic Area and tried some local specialty dishes. The scenery within the Xiangjiang Hotel complex itself is quite lovely, and they even have some cute little animals, making it perfect for families with kids.
