The bustling world outside doesn't touch me here. Rooted in the hundred-year-old Qilou architecture, I simply enjoy a serene tranquility. The butler-style service was just right – online self-check-in allowed for complete freedom and an unhurried pace, letting me truly embrace the gentle rhythm of old Guangzhou.

The room is clean and tidy. The pillows and mattress are soft. I fell asleep quickly when I got into bed. However, my girlfriend was on her period and stained the bedsheets, so I had to pay a penalty for them. The price was very expensive.

The facilities are complete, with a hotel elevator for easy access to luggage. The room air conditioning is very powerful, and the overall cleanliness is good. The only drawbacks are that the bathroom is wet when you enter, the hot water is not hot enough, and sometimes you have to wait a long time.

Living in Guangzhou, sometimes all I crave is convenience and tranquility. Just around the corner in Yongqingfang, I found such a place—not far from the hustle and bustle, yet peaceful—perfectly balanced. The staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out were all self-service via QR code, saving me the hassle of waiting and adding a touch of relaxation. Opening the door, the room was simply and tastefully laid out, everything spotless, making me feel right at home. Lying on the tatami at night was peaceful and comfortable.

This is my second stay here. The environment is great, and it's 500 meters from the subway station. It's a standalone guesthouse. You can store your luggage on the first floor, and there's a washing machine and balcony on the top floor, which is very convenient. There are also many restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

🏠 Xishe Homestay (Yongqingfang Branch) 📍No. 20, Fengyuan West Lane 1, Baoyuan Road, Liwan District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province This homestay is located near Yongqingfang, which is in what is considered Guangzhou's old town. It's super convenient for sightseeing and shopping, and most importantly, there are Muslim restaurants nearby, so you won't have to worry about finding places to eat. The room I booked is shown in the picture. It's quite spacious, and I wasn't worried about not having enough room for all my luggage. Also, the room has a kitchen with cookware, and this is the first time I've encountered a homestay room with a dishwasher—it's so thoughtful!

The hotel itself is clean and hygienic, but because it's located in a side alley, there's dog or cat poop and pee everywhere, especially near the hotel entrance 😬. It's also dark on the way back at night, so you really have to be extra careful. 😅

Xishe is hidden in a small alley in Xiguan and is a renovated old house. Because it is in the alley, there is no noisy sound of cars and horses. It is full of big houses in Xiguan and ordinary people's homes. You can also hear neighbors singing Cantonese opera nearby. The B&B is self-service check-in, but there are staff there. As soon as you enter the door, you will be enthusiastically told that there is an elevator in the B&B that can carry luggage, so you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and it even had a kitchen. What I like is a desk and chair, which is convenient for me to work when traveling. Walking out of the alley, you will find the Liwan Museum. Next to Liwan Lake, the houses of wealthy businessmen Chen Lianbo and Chen Lianzhong in the Republic of China were converted into a museum, exhibiting the history of Guangzhou merchants. Walk a little further south and you will reach Yongqingfang. The surrounding area is full of cheap and delicious Guangzhou specialties, including porridge, rice rolls, wonton noodles, and sugary desserts. If you want to know where to stay when traveling in Guangzhou, I recommend this treasure homestay in the alley.

Hidden gem of a guesthouse near Yongqingfang in Guangzhou! A budget-friendly option with incredibly high value. Spacious rooms, excellent location, convenient transportation, and affordable prices. Situated near the artsy Yongqingfang area, it's just a 600-meter walk to the trendy Moon Bridge. Nearby attractions include the Liwan Museum and Xiguan Knights' Building, offering a glimpse into the old Guangzhou atmosphere. It's also close to Shamian Island and Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street. The cozy, home-like ambiance is a testament to the owner's meticulous attention to detail. The detached house is beautifully decorated with flowers and plants, showcasing thoughtful touches in every corner. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and bright, with thoughtful details like disposable bath liners. A note: the guesthouse doesn't have an elevator, but the owner has provided a dedicated luggage lift, so you don't have to carry your luggage upstairs.

The most cost-effective homestay near Yongqingfang, the room is clean and bright, the mattress is soft and comfortable, there is a kitchen for cooking, it is located in the old city, it is a renovation of an old house, there is also a vegetable market nearby, but it is recommended to have the ingredients delivered. There is no elevator, but there is a small freight elevator. The waiter will help carry the luggage, which is very considerate. I feel very satisfied in all aspects.

The hotel is very well located, walk to Yongqing Plaza walk to Yongqing Plaza only need to walk to Yongqing Plaza will not take more than ten minutes, walk to Shangxiajiu Road about 15 minutes, very convenient! The interior of the room is the same as the photos, but there is a pity, I am staying in the gaze terrace queen room, is on the fourth floor, no elevator to walk the stairs, if the elderly is inconvenient, more luggage will be trouble! Spended a day in Guangzhou's Citywalk with friends from out of town. My friend chose this Airbnb🏨, and it was so comfortable that we didn't want to check out the next day! - Location📍: A 10-minute walk from Yongqingfang (walking distance!) A 10-minute walk from Changshou Road Metro Station🚉. Location is conveniently located downstairs with plenty of restaurants and eateries, including many popular eateries in the old town. The scenic Liwan Lake Park is also nearby. Room Amenities🛏️: The room was fully equipped. Each guest received disposable toiletries. The shampoo and shower gel were from reputable brands.
