Waifidun Apartment (Guangzhou Huanshi Road, Xiaobei Metro Station Branch)

The room was quite spacious and nice; it didn't feel cramped even with friends staying together.

The room was great and very clean. The free shuttle bus during the Canton Fair was a nice touch.

The location is excellent, right next to Linghu Building in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. Guangdong Radio and Television Station is just across the street. It's only a few minutes' walk to bus stops and subway stations, and there are plenty of shopping malls and entertainment options nearby. Definitely recommend staying here.

This hotel is excellent. They provide a free shuttle bus service during the Canton Fair.

There was a strong air freshener smell, and the room had an apartment-style decor, which is pretty standard. The hotel's parking is quite expensive at 100 RMB for 24 hours. You can park at the office building next door for 80 RMB, which is a bit cheaper. There were a lot of foreigners staying there, mostly Black individuals, but they all seemed to be on normal business trips. There aren't many restaurants nearby that cater to Chinese tastes, so ordering takeout might be a better option. There's only one noodle shop about 200 meters from Datang.

The room felt damp. The cleaning staff seemed a bit unfamiliar with the process and didn't clean thoroughly. The hotel hallway had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the layout was really odd. The soundproofing was terrible. If you're Chinese, I wouldn't recommend staying here, as there are mostly foreigners. The bathroom also had a bad odor. The only good thing was the friendly front desk staff.

The front desk staff were great and always helpful.
