Xingyi Chain Hotel Jiangxia Metro Station Reviews

Honestly, my overall impression was pretty good. The best part is its super convenient location right by the subway exit, surrounded by tons of food options. My main gripe, though, is the smell that hit me as soon as I opened the door. It made me wonder if it was a day-use room that had just checked out and hadn't been properly cleaned, just quickly tidied up. The duvet cover was clearly just flipped over, basically swapped sides – it was obvious the top part was now at the bottom and vice versa. Then there's the hygiene. There was this really obvious dark stain on the sink that I thought was permanent, but it actually came off with just a light wipe of water. And seriously, I can't believe that in this day and age, a hotel TV actually doesn't work! I called the front desk, and they said they'd send the security guard up. He came with a different remote, and it worked for a bit, but then the screen just went black and showed nothing. Not only did it not work, but it also started changing channels on its own – totally wild!

The service was exceptionally good, and the front desk staff were very patient. I had a great stay, and I hope they continue to improve.

I've stayed here many times. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's conveniently located with lots of dining options nearby.

I’m nice and very attractive hotel

I stayed here because most of my friends live in the Baiyun area. The location is super convenient—close to Exit A and B of Jiangxia Metro Line 2—so getting around was easy. There are plenty of food options nearby, including milk tea shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room doesn’t have a washing machine, but there’s a designated area for washing and drying clothes, which is very handy for longer stays. Heating is available, and there’s luggage storage as well. The room isn’t very soundproof, but for the price, it’s a great deal. I stayed 5 days and 4 nights during the New Year.

“Very bad experience at Xingyi Chain Hotel. The room was extremely small, uncomfortable, and had a terrible smell. Bed service was poor and overall cleanliness was not up to the mark. Definitely not worth the stay. Not recommended at all.”

The walls were stained, but I mean it seemed dirty, plus when you enter to the room there are a trong cigarette smell. Moreover the worst thing is the personal service, it is not only that they don’t know how to speak English, but also they bothers if you don’t understand her, the girl who atended me at morning in counter didn’t wanted to help me and she gnashed her teeth showing that she was fed up just for demanding the right service. I saw that she did the same to Russian people who were arriving. Maybe she believed that no one’s noted it but I did. The other girl was nice though. Anyway, I don’t recommend this hotel for these reasons.

So many people were making noise in the middle of the night, I couldn't sleep a wink. The soundproofing in the room is terrible.
