One of the hotels that experienced out of all the hotels stayed in with an unwelcoming service when checking in at 12am. Didn’t have a great first impression from the reception but Guangzhou still has great food fortunately near the hotel

This hotel has been renovated and it's very clean. Excellent location with plenty of restaurants right below.
Tube station is around 15 minutes walk.
This is an old part of town and if you are looking for authentic Chinese food. You are in the right place.
Will definitely stay again on my next trip.

Great location. The room is big and the bed is very comfortable. The only disadvantage is no mini fridge inside the room. There are 3 restaurants located at the same building. XiHua Road is a famous foods street. Lots of restaurants and foods stalls around this area.

Exceptional hospitality from Ah Mei and Xiao Pang (I hope I've spelled their names correctly), who were incredibly helpful and assisted me with my Taobao orders, returns and food deliveries.
The accommodations themselves were excellent. Generously sized rooms, instant hot water, and wonderfully comfortable beds that were perfect after long days of exploring.
Amenities included a small but well maintained gym, alongside washing machines and dryers that were popular with many guests so go early.
The location is on a vibrant food street, with activity and dining options available from early morning until late at night.

The room was not too large but so called clean. The window could be opened. Breakfast selection was limited, and the non-smoking room reeked of smoke smell. The lobby sofa was covered in stains, and the staff were indifferent and unhelpful. Parking cost 40 yuan per night.

Pros: Good service, strategic location, lots of eateries within walking distance
Cons: simple & limited choices of breakfast, smoking permitted in selected rooms & you can smell it everywhere in the hotel as well as the lift even smoking is not permitted.
