I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, especially Xiaofang, who provided outstanding service. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and its location was perfect for exploring Guangzhou, with easy access to shopping areas and tourist attractions. Our room was immaculately cleaned every single day. The bedding was soft, facilities functioned perfectly, and the quiet environment guaranteed us quality rest. The hotel's public spaces are well- kept and comfortable. All staff members maintain a courteous demeanour. The location is convenient for sightseeing and commuting, offering excellent value. The front desk staff was very professional and kind. I felt welcomed as I stepped in. The lobby had this beautiful aroma/fragrance which added to the whole atmosphere. The location is perfect, close to the subway and tons of restaurants that serve different cuisines. The room was well maintained with super helpful ladies. I'd go back to this hotel 🏨.

Had such a comfortable stay! The place was spotless, and the 24-hour concierge service was always available and incredibly responsive. Their communication was excellent, and the room itself was clean and cozy. The service was so thoughtful and attentive, I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!

This was my second stay at this long-standing five-star hotel, and once again, the service and room facilities were excellent. The Chinese restaurant's food was also very much to my liking, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, with good quality coffee. My granddaughter especially loved the rooftop pool. They even gave us mooncakes as a gift.

We booked a bigger room and love it. The room size is just right at 29sqm with amenities, free smart laundry services and basic gym. The breakfast was pretty good with variety. The hotel location was great just next to Beijing Lu station and next to TeeMall. Within walking distance to Beijing Pedestrian Road. That is what I like, near the shopping area but live in it due to the huge crowd. Value for money and I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our chats were very relaxing and they genuinely provided a lot of emotional support. 🥰 The entire check-in process felt very comfortable and warm. It wasn't the typical formulaic service, but rather one that truly made guests feel cared for. I booked a king room, and the lighting was great. The decor was a simple and timeless natural wood style. The room was generally clean, and the housekeeping staff paid attention to small corners. The soundproofing was excellent; I had a very peaceful and restful night's sleep. The staff were very kind. The front desk had a vending machine and a self-service coffee machine, which I really appreciated as someone who doesn't like to go out much. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Garden Hotel has a history of over 40 years. In fact, it's not just a hotel; it has witnessed the development of several generations in Guangzhou. I remember as a child, living nearby, visiting Garden Hotel felt like Grandma Liu entering the Grand View Garden, haha. If it weren't for the guided tour, I would never have known so many secrets hidden within Garden Hotel. First, the murals at Garden Hotel are truly worth studying. The mural at check-in, made of gold leaf, depicts nine scenes from 'Dream of the Red Chamber,' and each scene can be interpreted in the Garden Hotel's museum. The mural at the entrance, with its yin and yang elements, is a feng shui array. Combined with the caisson ceiling design in the lobby, which is similar to the dragon-patterned caisson ceiling in the Forbidden City, it's clear to see the thoughtfulness and wisdom of the designers when the hotel was built. The details of the garden waterfall and landscaping are also exquisite. And the restaurants have endless stories to tell. Just the hotel's museum alone is worth a visit, as it bears witness to a unique historical and cultural heritage. The hotel rooms have been renovated, but the twin room is actually very cramped, and the furnishings are indeed old-fashioned. Compared to a modern twin room costing 500 yuan, it might not even be worth this price. The complimentary breakfast is also just average. However, the hotel staff's service makes you feel like you're basking in a spring breeze. Foreigners still really like it, after all, Garden Hotel represents Guangzhou's economic rise and a gathering place for Chinese culture.
