The hotel offers breakfast, afternoon tea, and a late-night snack. Breakfast is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, afternoon tea from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and the late-night snack from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. I found the hotel very convenient; it's close to the Tianhe business district. The room even had a mini-fridge that was well-stocked and good to eat from. The facilities are quite comprehensive, and there's a XiaoDu smart speaker in the room. It's very convenient to get to places like Zhujiang New Town and Canton Tower, just a street away with lots of food options. There's also an Oriental Plaza shopping mall nearby, which is very convenient for browsing. The staff even gave me some fighting stickers and a fridge magnet, which was a very thoughtful touch. The hygiene was excellent, and the room attendants always had a smile on their faces – truly wonderful. The room had a complete set of bedding. Parking is very convenient, available on -1 or -2 floors. The hotel also has a laundry room on the fourth floor, which is quite handy, and a gym on the same floor, which is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time. What a delightful trip to Guangzhou!

A 5 star hotel with an amazing staff. Dominic helped us check in early at 8am although checkin is usually at 2pm. And during our checkout Elena was very helpful and kind. The hotel is amazing and the facilities are great. The swimming pool is fun and the gym is massive with a lot of equipment. The room is huge in size as well. Will surely come again. Hilton is hilton

Hotel was clean, service was excellent. We checked in around 1am because our flight arrived around midnight and the staff was patient, and handled our check-in promptly. Rooms are cleaned every day and towels changed every day too. 2 mineral bottles are provided per day, and you can easily request extra 2 with the Wechat QR code they provided. Other things can also be requested with the QR code, like shower gel, facial cleanser, and even sanitary pads. In the common area they provide candy, sewing kits, hairties and bandages for small cuts too. Place is a little old but charming. Location is extremely excellent! Connected to Yantang station on line 3 and line 6, and the area is super walkable. I managed to visit 4 Cheong Fun shops (肠粉) to try out their affordable and filling local breakfasts, as well as modern hip new cafes that serve single origin coffee and coffee mocktails. Would definitely book again for my next Guangzhou visit!

Mercure Hotel is conveniently located in the center of Tianhe. The hotel staff was very helpful in arranging many things for us. They even knew it was my birthday and immediately sent over a 'small cake,' which turned out to be a fresh fruit cake – too big for two people, probably enough for 4-6! They also gave us a complimentary gift. We received a free room upgrade to a 180-degree L-shaped room with high-rise city views. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service.

Didn't take photos of the room, but it was the usual high quality. It was my first time using the self-service laundry, and it was a real lifesaver for someone like me who sweats a lot! As a music festival trooper, I came from Shenzhen to Guangzhou for the Neon EDM festival, and it was so hot I was soaking through three t-shirts every day. Thankfully, the hotel's free self-service laundry and drying service saved me from having a bag full of stinky laundry on the way back home 😂. You can scan a QR code on the TV (a big Toshiba screen) to check the real-time status of the washing machines and dryers on the 19th floor, and even subscribe to alerts so you don't have to wait around. If there's another EDM festival at Canton Tower, I'll definitely book this place again! The transportation is convenient; the hotel is just 10 meters from Exit F of Metro Line 1, and there are many delicious food options nearby worth exploring 👍

Very close to the East Station, which was convenient for catching an early train the next morning. The room's amenities were excellent, clean and tidy. The only downside was the lack of windows, so no ventilation. The breakfast tasted great, with many freshly made items and a wide variety to choose from.

Hotel Review – 3/5 Stars I had an average stay at this hotel. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were generally polite and helpful. The room was clean, although some of the furniture looked a bit dated and could benefit from refurbishment. The bed was reasonably comfortable, but there was some noise from the hallway at night, which affected the quality of sleep. The Wi-Fi worked most of the time, though the connection occasionally became slow. Breakfast offered a fair selection of food, but the menu was repetitive and some items were not served at the ideal temperature. The hotel’s location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport. Overall, the hotel met my basic expectations but did not provide anything particularly memorable. It is a decent option for a short stay if you’re looking for reasonable value, though there is room for improvement in maintenance, dining variety, and attention to detail.

The rooms at this hotel are very private, and the elevator requires a key card for security. The hotel upgraded my room for free, which was great, and the communication was excellent. The style is quite vintage, the beds are incredibly soft and comfortable, and the service was very attentive and thoughtful. It's right next to the East Station, making it super convenient for getting around, and there are also convenience stores nearby.

The room and hygiene were great, and the breakfast was good too. The only minor downside was that it took a long time for the front desk to deliver water that I requested, and when I ordered takeout, the front desk said they hadn't received it (even though it had actually arrived). Other than that, everything else was fine, haha.

The service was excellent; they tried their best to meet all my needs. If a delivery was late, they'd even bring it up to my room themselves. They also offer printing services, which saved me a lot of hassle. The front desk staff were very kind, and the environment was great.
