The first room I was given didn't match the room type and photos shown on Ctrip. The shower and toilet layout was very odd; the showerhead was right next to the toilet with no separation, and the space was very cramped. This room type might even be disliked by others if offered as a special deal (Picture 1). I then called the front desk to explain the situation and asked if I could change my room type. I was ready to complain if they said no rooms were available. The front desk staff were very accommodating, saying they had other room types and asked me to come down to swap key cards. After the change, the room was exactly what I booked on Ctrip, and I was satisfied. However, since it was still during the Chinese New Year period, the front desk didn't proactively wish me a Happy New Year upon arrival, which is a basic service expected from a hotel and a bit disappointing. Unlike other hotels in the same price range, there were no welcome gifts like candy or snacks for New Year bookings.

The guest rooms are meticulously cleaned, with clean, soft, and comfortable bedding. The bathroom is dry and pristine, and the toiletries are spotless. There isn't a single uncleaned corner in the entire room, making for a worry-free and comfortable stay. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful. Check-in and check-out were efficient and quick, and their attitude was friendly and patient. They even proactively recommended sightseeing routes for Yongqingfang and Chen Clan Academy, along with local specialty foods. Any requests were promptly attended to, which was especially heartwarming. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive and practical. The in-room internet speed is stable, hot water supply is ample, and all appliances run smoothly, maximizing living comfort. The location is a major advantage, being close to the metro station, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and dining out. Overall, the value for money is outstanding; everything from the environment and hygiene to the service and facilities is impeccable. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Guangzhou!

The room was clean and tidy, with a surprisingly large wardrobe, and even a fridge and washing machine. Plus, there's a balcony for fresh air and drying clothes, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was decent, with good Cantonese dim sum and wonton noodles. There are seats by the entrance, perfect for a quick rest or waiting for a ride – a thoughtful touch. Yangtao Plaza is nearby, offering a wide variety of dining options. The front desk service was excellent; they even upgraded my room. It was a very pleasant stay, and I'll definitely be back.

Definitely will come back to this stay if we ever come back to GuangZhou. Location is superb and surrounded by various food and location for sight seeing. Right in the centre of the town. Hassle free!! The room condition is superb and sparkling clean! However, most importantly is their staff is super friendly and always willing to help. They have genuine advice on places to visit and help us when we even got scammed by the taxi driver. So strongly recommended place to stay! You will regret it.
