Alannia Guardamar

My family and I have just returned from a fantastic stay at the Alannia resort. My parents and my kids stayed on one of the pitches in my parents motor home and were close to toilet blocks, washing areas. My husband and I stayed in one of the Mediterranean Suite Cabins which was absolutely beautiful! Much more spacious than it looks in the photos. It was spotless clean and has everything you need for a short stay such as towels, washing up equipment crockery etc. The cabins are air conditioned and have plenty of space both inside and out. There is a shop on site which stocks pretty much everything you would need and is reasonably priced. The pool is fantastic fun - my children and husband loved the slides. Entertainment was on everyday at the pool and in the evening and was all very good, we loved the rock concert the best! Breakfast was a buffet and they had plenty of choice, from hot food to continental it does get busy so we found it better to go early In the evening we tried the buffet once and the kids enjoyed being able to pick their own food, the rest of the evenings we ate of the menu which had great choice and was all really good quality and value for money. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this campsite - we had a great 4 nights and my kids are already asking when we can go back

This is a first class resort. We have stayed in our motorhome now for two months and will be staying longer probably. The staff are amazing: friendly, professional, always smiling and always make time to help you. We are here in the low season but the pool area and grounds are meticulously maintained. We dont hve kids (with us), but there is entertainment put on for both kids and adults and there are many facilities to be enjoyed.

We really loved the place and will be back. The pools were closed so we did not have a chance to test them but the areas looked lovely. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise and loud music so I hope for more quiet in the future.

We paid full price which isn't cheap. There was all inclusive in benidorm much cheaper! At no point does it state the pools are closed. The kids pool that is open the slides are off. The trampolines were always full my kids could never get on them the park was just full of kids were rough so we couldn't go there. The football pitch was full of big lads so we couldn't go there. The cabins have no privacy outside you are literally ontop of each other it's not nice. We were placed right next to the main alleyway (number 39) and it was just constant people walking by constant scooters nearly knocking my baby over it was horrible. We only escape away on the odd occasion and sadly we had a terrible experience and won't be back. We do love alannia catral though much better. One of the worst things was its Halloween weekend even though its not Halloween yet. We had constant kids begging for sweets and waking my babies up on both nights we were there. Was just a crazy time and horrible experience

The day we were to arrive I realized that I had booked accommodation in a completely different city than I was meant to. Upon realizing my mistake I contacted Alannia resorts by phone immediately to advise them that I would not be arriving. I realized that a ‘no show’ could result in a penalty but I did reach them before we were due to check in. I could understand that a penalty would be fair if it were high season and the resort was full. However this is now shoulder and places are certainly not full. I had hoped that Alannia resorts could have demonstrated some good faith and not debited my cc as much as they did - 1 full day out of a 2 day booking. Whatever you do, don’t expect any compassion from this company.

Lovely accommodation, friendly helpful staff, fabulous choice of pools, great entertainment all day. Lovely restaurant in the evenings. Shop has all the basics. Didn't use gym facilities. Everywhere clean and tidy, beautiful flowers on the walkways.

We just returned from our family holiday at Alannia Guardamar. We loved every minute we had there! We stayed in one of the Malta plus cabins, basic, but all amenities required were supplied! Pools are absolutely amazing, well maintained with friendly lifeguards which is always a plus. Restaurant was grand, wont be gettin Michelin stars, but was perfect for family holidays! My only gripe would b the location, getting into town was fine & cost about €10, problem was getting back! We went in on Saturday evening & when we rang for a taxi, we were told it would be 90mins - 2hrs!! Not ideal after 10oc! This is not a bad review on Alannia as it’s not their fault, but perhaps a shuttle bus in and out of town or a partnership with a local taxi service may be an idea?? As I say, not a criticism, just an observation! All in all, we had a great time at Alannia Guardamar & would recommend it to anybody! We will definitely return!

We travelled as a family in a campervan. When we arrived the check-in was very slow took around 20 minutes. Eventually got to our pitch. It was a very big pitch and had full hedges all around the pitch so we had privacy. We was allocated very close to the toilet blocks they was very clean and very well maintained. The restaurant and bar area was nice , had inside and outside sitting . Staff members very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool area is beautiful. Very big swimming pool. They have a kiddies pool with slides. In the middle they have a bar and they have a pool that is at least 5 foot 10 inches deep . With a bigger slide. They had plenty of sunloungers for guests to use and they was kept clean. The only let down was the entertainment. The entertainment around the pool was limbo that was it for the kids. All in spainish . Even though they asked if anyone spoke English which we said yes they just ignored us. There was a music quiz and the entertainment only called up the Spanish family to claim a prize and they only spoke in spainish so the English families that had kids didn't know what was going on and lost out. They only had shows on during the weekend and during the week there was nothing on ENTERTAINMENT NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
