Many Thanks to Andy and the team for sorting our Staff Christmas party (in July). The team had an amazing time with both the Axe throwing and Retro Hub. Decent priced drinks and a nice chilled vibe throughout the evening. Would highly recommend. Bill

Booked into the Rage Room as it looked like an ideal place for me and my friend to take out some anger. We were right! Great fun and loads of things to smash up! We had a safety chat before hand, shown what we had and had the opportunity to ask any questions. Safety gear was provided and a good selection of tools and breakables. Hot work in the summer weather, actually great fun.

If you’re visiting here for the rage room, all I can say is please be careful. There was no safety talk provided beforehand, the ‘waiver’ was quite literally a blank notebook where you signed your name and signature and the safety gear had seen better days. I expected something like a boiler suit to cover up with, but nothing was provided, just head on in with whatever you’re wearing. The room itself is quite small and it didn’t feel like it’d been cleaned up particularly well from the party before, with shards of glass covering the floor. You are provided with glass bottles, plates, and two appliances. It took some getting used to at first as we were quite worried about injuring ourselves. Overall it was fun but equally it could have been more fun had we been wearing the right protective gear, and the room been bigger. It just made us feel uneasy.

Over priced. Over rated. Don’t get me wrong. It’s fun smashing things up ! It says on the website to save 10 minutes beforehand to have a safety talk. He basically said sign a waiver here’s your hat gloves and glasses and walked away! That was ridiculous and quite disappointing. You can have a playlist so you connect to a stereo that’s in there all good There is not enough in there to smash for half hour. One TV monitor one microwave and a few bottles. There is a punch bag thing, but it’s not all that good. You get a bat and a mallet . The hat kept falling off the protective glasses steamed up all the time the gloves aren’t really hardy enough for the glass flying around. I did enjoy it. It was fun a lot of pent up frustration was used up , but it’s not enough for the money that’s asked the deposit was paid but he asked for more than it says advertised. I’ll never go there again. The guys is obviously just to get money he doesn’t care about what goes on. He couldn’t have cared less if I’d got hurt. As I said in the beginning, he gave me a two minute if that safety talk and walked away. He was friendly enough, but didn’t actually seem to give a crap. If you wanna waste 60+ quid, go if not think about going somewhere else

Desperately needs a clean. Bathroom was dirty, dirty walls, mould around the shower tray, cobwebs, fan filter filthy, fan wouldn't go off, faulty light, no toilet roll holder, no hot water at the sink, no soap or hand towels, towel rail looked ready to fall off the wall. Side of bed stained, chair dirty, even the TV screen was dirty. We were advised we could check in after 1:00pm, place was locked up and couldn't get hold of anyone by phone until after 3! Loud music from the on site club, and disturbed by people talking loudly at the tables positioned right outside our window. Was cheap but that's all that can be said for it

Great place easy to find car parking easy and free. Rooms comfortable neat tidy and clean. Good selection of tv channels including netflix if you desired. We came down for a mates bday had drinks before and after going out to town in the bar area. Pub full of character nice bar area. Great area with stage for bands and crowds. The staff were welcoming friendly and helpful. Outside area is lovely as well plenty of benches chairs etc. Would highly reccomend we will actually come back again just to have a night out at the pub itself
