Traveling with seniors and children, my main concerns were cleanliness, hygiene, and service. Overall, I was quite pleased. Dining options in the area are convenient, and the hotel restaurant's dishes were delicious and hygienic, with very reasonable prices.

The surroundings are nice, but the room feels a bit old. My biggest disappointment was that I'd noted in advance that it was my child's birthday and hoped for some decorations, but no one saw the request! They apologized profusely when we arrived and even gave us a small gift. But I was hoping to surprise my child, it wasn't about the gift! The service here is far inferior to Hilton's!

5 star hotel of international standard with quality furnishings and spacious room and separate bathroom. Good bell boy service and good in house resturant. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room with balcony and a fantastic view of the mountains. There are no local shops or restaurants within walking distance, but this is a plus as you don't have crowds outside the hotel. I had problem with we chat and Serena. One of the front desk was most helpful and spend ample time to go through my internet settings. Taxi service is cheap and most taxi trip is not more than 25 rmb which is about 6 dollars Australian. Front desk staff send us to Good quality local restaurants as we wanted to try authentic local restaurants. Probably the best in quilin

Always the greatest pleasure staying at the Shangri-La in Guilin. Awesome buffet dinner (all you can eat & drink) available on certain evenings, a must visit for any foodies who enjoy a wonderful selection of dishes. Really good hotel in Guilin. Decent breakfast with clean rooms. The view towards the river and mountains is beautiful. Recommended!

The best hotel in Guilin. It has a beautiful garden with a small zoo as well. The room is clean and customer service is good. Special thanks to Lily Wan, she is a very nice and friendly person, she takes care of animals in the zoo at the hotel. We will definitely come back again.

Amazing and huge hotel. Service is at the top level for China. We did spa service and it was an amazing relaxing experience. The garden was very big and peaceful. Many services for children and families as well.

My family was very happy with our stay. there was something to do for everyone, pools were clean and well equipped. we 2 double bedrooms, both very spacious, clean and comfortable beds. We had a beautiful river view whcih also gave us amazing sunset view beyond the mountains of Guilin. They help you arrange trips and are very attentive to your needs and requests. Breakfast was delicious and varied as was dinner at the buffet restaurant. It is only 10 minutes drive away from main spots.

Service was great, good swimming pools, and a great area with spectacular views from the hotel windows 

LOVEEDDDDDDD the hotel and all its amenities. Spent some days hanging out next to the indoor and outdoor pools. Hotel was accommodating for all our needs. Would come again.

Shangri-la is always a guarantee! The luxury smell in the main corridor and hall, the delicious food at the buffet or the perfectly maintained gardens. Would really recommend this hotel!

Nice location and clean rooms und spa with a lovely view. However, communication was quite difficult as the front desk staff spoke very little English. They couldn’t clearly explain the bill during check-out, which was frustrating. Overall, decent stay but service in English needs improvement.

What a beautiful hotel! We had amazing guest service as well. I would highly recommend staying at the Shangri-La for anyone that is visiting Guilin!

The rooms require maintenance, very outdated. The kids train did not run at all the times as listed. far from the center, requiring a taxi every time you want to get there. However, a hotel that was very experiential for children, passed the time for them. For adults less - really less. Alex had the best service there. Thank you Alex.
