The hotel's environment is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly warm and patient. They constantly check in to make sure you're comfortable and ask if you need anything. The hotel offers great views and a superb location, with good soundproofing. It's close to Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, and Xiaoyao Tower. Definitely worth a visit!

The food street is right next door! Shared electric scooters are available downstairs from the hotel! And across the street is the Li River, the location is absolutely amazing. The hotel lobby also smells great, very nice! Excellent value for money.

Choosing Global International Hotel in the city center is a smart move; the location is simply unbeatable. You can walk to all the city's attractions from here. The hotel is clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping, and I stayed for three consecutive days.

Pleasantly surprised! The front desk staff, 'Xiao Zhong' (a handsome guy), upgraded my room. I can see the Li River and distant mountains right from my window – what a view! The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of attractions like Jingjiang Prince City.

The newly renovated hotel is clean and beautiful. It's located right by the Li River, and you can walk to Elephant Trunk Hill along the riverside. Across the street is a pedestrian street with many dining options; the food at Xiaoyao Tower is particularly delicious. The front desk staff, Ms. Gan, kindly upgraded us to a river-view room, so we could see Xiaoyao Tower right from our bed. The breakfast was also good. There's a counter in the lobby where you can book Li River cruise tickets at a slightly cheaper price than online platforms. They even helped us arrange a designated driver to take us to the cruise terminal and then drive our car to Yangshuo to pick us up.

The hotel's location is excellent. You can see Xiaoyao Tower right outside the window, and the Li River is just next door. The front desk staff were very welcoming, the room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was quite spacious. Thumbs up!

The location is excellent; you can walk to Elephant Trunk Hill and Zhengyang Street. In the morning, you can watch the sunrise from your room. At night, it's quiet with the windows closed. There were no disposable toilet seat covers or disposable slippers.

You can walk to Elephant Trunk Hill, and from the rooftop of Fisherman's Wharf at Two Rivers and Four Lakes, you can see Xiaoyao Tower. It's very close to East and West Alleys. Right next to it is the pedestrian street, perfect for finding all sorts of delicious food. Highly recommended!

As a local from Guilin, whenever friends or relatives visit from out of town, I always recommend the Universal Hotel first. It's even better after the renovation a few years ago. The facilities are comprehensive, giving you a very comfortable, home-like feeling. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the views are absolutely stunning! You can enjoy a panoramic view of Guilin city and its beautiful landscape right from your room. Transportation is convenient, whether you're taking a taxi or a shared electric scooter. It's also within walking distance to several of Guilin's main attractions, making it perfect for young people to enjoy a city walk.

Location: The hotel boasts a great location, and the lobby is simple yet elegant, featuring a dry landscape garden. It's a convenient 15-minute walk to Zheng Yang Pedestrian Street and the Sun and Moon Pagodas. Facilities: Only one elevator was operational; the other two were undergoing maintenance and closed. Service: The staff was polite and accommodating, moving my room to a central location. The bedding was good, with two pillows, one of which was a memory foam pillow. For breakfast, there's a simple selection of Chinese and Western options, including coffee, milk, yogurt, soy milk, toast, and salad, catering to various preferences. Hygiene: This area needs improvement. There were yellow urine stains on the toilet seat, but luckily, I always carry alcohol wipes to disinfect the toilet. There were also a few small stains on the walls. Additionally, around 9 PM, the cleaning lady on my floor was speaking loudly on her walkie-talkie, disturbing my rest. After I brought it to her attention, she spoke much more quietly, which was appreciated. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Elephant Trunk Hill, making it super easy to get around and find places to eat. The room was clean, the shower pressure and temperature were perfect, and the smart devices were a breeze to use. The front desk staff were both warm and professional. The value for money is unbeatable, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town and have already recommended it to my friends!

Taking advantage of the autumn break in Foshan, I went on a trip during the off-peak season, and the weekday price was under 200 yuan. The location is great, and having an underground parking lot is a huge plus! It's convenient to walk to nearby attractions from the hotel. The attractions in Guilin are quite concentrated, and you can see them all in one afternoon. The soundproofing in the rooms is just okay; you can hear children running, jumping, and shouting in the hallway, which can be a bit disruptive. The hotel elevators are currently being renovated, but there are still working elevators available. Overall, it's pretty good. The front desk service was a bit lukewarm, but the gentleman who showed us the room was excellent!
