The room was incredibly comfortable and quiet. Whenever I had a question, the front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were super responsive and helpful, always ready to answer anything and even greeted me when I passed by. They were all so good-looking too! They also provided a guide to local attractions. Plus, you can rent power banks at the front desk! It was a very pleasant and happy stay. Highly recommend overall!

Staying here in Guilin was a great choice! First off, the service was excellent; the front desk lady definitely deserves a thumbs up 👍. Secondly, it's close to Elephant Trunk Hill, about a 1km walk. Plus, there are lots of places to eat nearby. We booked two rooms, and the front desk lady kindly arranged for them to be together, which we really appreciated!

The hotel's location is excellent, right outside you'll find the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area. The room wasn't large, but it was very clean, and the service was great. They even gave us recommendations for good food, and everyone was very enthusiastic and helpful.

The hotel environment is good, and the service is quite nice. The room was also clean, and we even got an upgrade to a family room. The room isn't huge (which was clear from the square footage when booking, so I had expectations going in), and it would be even better if there were an extra 5 cm at the foot of the bed, but it's still perfectly adequate.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Staying at a vintage coffee-themed hotel by the 'Two Rivers and Four Lakes' was the perfect start to my Guilin trip! For this trip to Guilin, I specifically chose the James Joyce Coffetel. First off, the location is truly excellent. It’s about a ten-minute walk to Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, and the Two Rivers and Four Lakes pier, and it’s also very close to Guilin Station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The entire hotel has an American retro industrial style, and the lobby is filled with a rich coffee aroma – very stylish. The service at the hotel is also great; the staff are incredibly enthusiastic, efficient, and meticulous in handling things. When we checked out, it was raining, and a hotel staff member even helped us carry our luggage to the car, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room was clean and hygienic, and the bedding and latex pillows were very comfortable to sleep on. Staying here really gave me a sense of being at home. The value for money is exceptional. If you’re looking for a stylish, artistic vibe and want convenient access to Guilin’s core attractions, choosing this place is an absolute must!

A very cozzy place... Great room, very nice hospitality, nice food for breakfast... A great Service And near to Tourist destination Sun Mood pagoda & elephant Trunk Hill.

This ZHotel feels different from the ones I've stayed at before; it's clearly a much lower-end establishment. I even paid an extra 40 for an upgrade, and the room was still tiny. I really like ZHotels in Guangdong, but this one in Guilin is just not good. 🙅‍♀️

The hotel is super close to the scenic area, just over a ten-minute walk away. Guilin is quite nice for a stroll. It's located in the old town, but the rooms are very clean and the furnishings have a stylish feel. The Guilin rice noodles downstairs are absolutely delicious! What I appreciated most is how quiet the hotel is; the soundproofing is pretty good, and the bedding is really comfortable for sleeping.

The room was spotless, and the breakfast offered a good variety. The location is super convenient for getting around, and many attractions are just a short bike ride away. I highly recommend it – definitely worth experiencing! The staff were all very attentive and welcoming.

Pros - Location is very close to Guilin Railway Station. - Lobby has a cute theme. - Free coffee! Cons - One of the four rooms we had booked smelled of sewage, however, there were no issues with changing to another room after speaking to staff about the issue. - Breakfast selection was limited.

Great location, very convenient for getting around. The front desk upgraded my room, which was a nice touch. I'd definitely recommend it to friends. It's a short walk to Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Pagodas. There's also an old-school rice noodle shop nearby that serves amazing food.
