YUNSHUO · High Sky Private Soup Hotel (Huaguoyuan White House Songhua Road Metro Station)

It's a nice hotel, with spacious rooms and in a good location, the staff are very welcoming and helpful but currently the hotel is undergoing renovations. There is a lot of construction noise going on and the restaurant/breakfast is not open yet which is unfortunate.

First the good points: Hotel service is very good and attentive; location is convenient as it’s located near shopping malls (one is just next door), supermarket is located downstairs, its near Guiyang’s iconic White House building, and hotel is not too far from Guiyang railway station and airport; Room is large and spacious; Room design is nice; Bed and pillow are comfortable; Amenities are good. Not so good points: Hotel is a bit hard to find at first , as it’s located in the building where there are many other hotels; Breakfast is provided but doesn’t taste good (and the eggs were not fresh) and food is cold; One major thing is that the room cleanliness should be improved: when we checked in, there was some food and oil stains still on the sofa and near the window area, and the floor had some tufts of hair and dust. Looks like the room is not cleaned properly and not vacuumed properly. When we checked in, the shampoo bottle was almost empty - shouldn’t this be replaced when guests checkin?

The service was quite good and the breakfast each morning was also really nice. There were windows in the breakfast area so you could look out over one of the coolest parts of the city. The bathroom doesn’t have a spot that is completely separated as a bathroom. The toilet and shower are by themselves in this room.

overall we are very satisfied. The place is a little hard to find since it's in the city center along with all similar buildings. Also, there are a LOT of hotels in the same building. But we found it eventually. It is very convenient with all kinds of retailers just around the corner. The only thing is there was a lot of construction going on, so the night is not quiet until late, and the construction starts early in the morning, too.

Good location with a view overlooking a park. The only downside is hard to find the access to the building and lift to the hotel. No taxi or car drop ramp to unload the luggage. Building itself is a bit outdated and noisey at night from karaoke clubs downstairs.

Customer Service at reception named 庞庞 ( 庞思琪) is very friendly and helpful. She provided very good guidance and took time to explain how washing machine, dryer works. Also gave us good advice on local attractions! She's definitely a gem for the hotel and made our stay very pleasant! Thank you 庞庞! E.Ng
