I stayed at the Holiday Inn Guiyang Airport for a transit layover. It's conveniently close to the airport, especially T3. The lobby is spacious and bright, and the front desk staff provided excellent service. Lily was particularly quick and enthusiastic during check-in. Choosing this hotel as my first stop for my trip was a great experience overall.

Overall, the hotel is quite good. The service is excellent, parking is convenient, and the location is very accessible. It's only a 5-minute walk to Terminal 3 of the airport, and also a 5-minute walk to the Hi-Car and Shenzhou Car Rental branches. There's a small supermarket and dining options right next to the hotel. The hotel breakfast is outstanding, and the service is great. On my last day, I had an early flight, and the front desk prepared a sandwich breakfast for me in advance, which was absolutely delicious. I booked a room with breakfast for two, and it cost a little over 500 RMB per night. Personally, I think the price is a bit high; it would be perfect if it were around 400 RMB!

The shuttle service was excellent. Room: The decor was very cozy and comfortable. It had a clean and tidy style, and the room's furnishings felt very new. Although it's next to the airport, the hotel's soundproofing was pretty good; I barely heard any planes taking off or landing. Breakfast: The selection was quite comprehensive, a Chinese-style buffet breakfast. I ordered Guizhou rice noodles, a must-try when in Guiyang. Service: The front desk checked me in very quickly and was very thoughtful.

What truly impressed me about this stay wasn't the room size, but the subtle yet profound attentiveness of the front desk staff, Xiaolu. When I was checking in, I was on the phone, so she didn't say much. But after I got to my room, she called me back to go over the check-in details. She noticed our room was for three people but only had two breakfast vouchers, so she thoughtfully added an extra one for my child. This kind of understated yet perfectly timed care was far more reassuring than any standard, rehearsed smile. She wasn't just following service procedures; she was genuinely 'seeing' the guest. The breakfast was also fantastic, served buffet-style, and truly a delightful surprise. Highly recommended!!!
