The Grand Guizhou Park Hotel

This was my first time seeing a room specifically designed for women. Even when I first read the description, I was already impressed by the details like the dressing table, illuminated makeup mirror, jewelry organizer, and phone holder. My actual stay far exceeded my expectations, and I truly recommend it. First, I have to praise the garment care machine in the room – quick care, delicate care, drying and wrinkle removal, and odor and germ elimination, all in one machine. Being able to take care of my clothes anytime while traveling is incredibly convenient. Second, I usually bring my own disposable toiletries, but the hotel had almost everything I needed, and they were even brands I commonly use, with excellent quality: disposable towels, bath towels, hair drying caps, toilet seat covers, as well as individually packaged sanitary pads, makeup remover wipes, facial cleanser, and hand cream. They replenished everything promptly each day after I used them, showing incredible attention to detail. Besides the electric kettle, the room also came with a Xiaomi travel mug, which is the exact model I carry with me, and it's very useful. Another small detail is that in the entryway near the elevators, there's drinking water, disposable glasses cleaning cloths, wet wipes, garment wipes, and shoe shine cloths, which is a very thoughtful touch. As for breakfast, I was able to try many Guizhou specialties: sticky rice, Changwang noodles, beef noodles, crisped pork belly, dipping sauces, and Zunyi small cakes. Other dishes were up to the usual standard for a star hotel, decent but not outstanding. During this trip to Guiyang, I also stayed at another highly-rated hotel near Jiaxiu Tower. Comparing the two, I definitely prefer this female-themed room at Guizhou Hotel Guibinlou. It surpasses the other in both thoughtfulness and comfort. This will be my first choice next time I visit Guiyang.

The breakfast here is even better than many five-star hotels abroad. During my four-day stay in Guiyang, I started each day with a sumptuous breakfast, then took the high-speed train from Guiyang North for a day trip to the surrounding areas. In the afternoons, I'd return to the hotel to relax, swim, or hit the gym. What surprised me most was the meticulous interior design of the hotel, seamlessly blending Guizhou's local characteristics into everything from carpets and hanging paintings to decorative擺件 and wall decor. Even the items in the vanity box in the bathroom were jigsaw puzzles. I took my time exploring from the first to the fourth floor and was constantly delighted by what I found.

I stayed here last year and had a great impression, so I came back again this year, still in a twin room. **Pros:** Just like last year, the elevator card access is super convenient – contactless and directly takes you to your floor. Many high-end hotels don't even have this feature, and I really like it. The room partition door design is excellent, both practical and aesthetically pleasing with its traditional Chinese charm. The complimentary hawthorn juice is delicious, and the potato shred snack is quite unique, though a bit too spicy for me! Our east-facing room offered a view of Guiyang No. 6 Middle School, and one window could be opened for ventilation. The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to Exit D of Beijing Road Station for Metro Lines 1 and 3, making it very convenient for subway travel and also very close to Guiyang No. 6 Middle School. **Cons and Suggestions:** This time, the room was different from last year's. There was no night light, and the shower water pressure and temperature were fixed and couldn't be adjusted. I felt the water pressure was a bit low and the temperature was slightly too cool. I hope this can be improved. I called room service (dialed 0) several times, but no one answered. I had to shout for the cleaning staff in the hallway next door to take out the trash. The staff member, however, was very good-natured, diligent, enthusiastic, and polite.

When checking in, I had to wait for a long time, but the hotel later compensated with many gifts, and the service was excellent. I will definitely stay here again next time. The overall room and hotel location are very suitable for family trips, and I will continue to stay here on my next visit.

Anyone visiting Guiyang should definitely avoid this hotel, don't believe the fake positive reviews on their homepage. I didn't want to give a bad review, but I'm just too angry. After eating the buffet dinner at the hotel, I had constant diarrhea. The hotel offered no explanation, only saying they could accompany me to the doctor. There was still no resolution by the time I checked out. This hotel is truly something else; based on this service alone, definitely don't come here. There's absolutely no guarantee of hygiene.

The location of Guizhou Hotel VIP Building is excellent, which was a major reason why we chose to stay there. The subway entrance is right outside the hotel, making it very convenient whether you're taking Line 3 to Huaguoyuan or Line 1 to and from Guiyang North Station for day trips to other attractions. If you have luggage, you can take a taxi to and from Guiyang North Station. It's about a ten-minute ride and very affordable. The overall service quality at the VIP Building is good. The doorman helped with our luggage. Both check-in and check-out were seamless. The breakfast selection isn't extensive but is decent. One thing to note when staying here is the room type. The first room I was given... the moment I opened the door, I thought I had walked into a guesthouse. While the facilities were good, it didn't feel like any five-star hotel I'd ever stayed in. It just didn't have that five-star vibe. On the second day, I changed rooms, and finally, it felt right. It was what you'd expect from an established five-star hotel. The Chinese restaurant on the 4th floor of the hotel offers good quality food. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are very generous. If you don't want to eat out, having dinner at the hotel is very convenient.

Great location, with a metro station right outside. The room was clean and spacious enough for us and our child. The staff were friendly, enthusiastic, and always ready to answer any questions. The pool was clean and supervised, which was very convenient.

First, the pros: The suite was very spacious, and the staff cleaned and tidied it thoroughly every day. The bed linen was changed every three days. The family suite included two steak set meals per night, which was enough for three people. Now, for the cons: The air conditioning wasn't very powerful, and the extra bed was too small.

Located in central Guiyang, about 15 minutes from MixC Mall and Guiyang Station. There's plenty of parking right outside the entrance. The room has excellent soundproofing, but it's not particularly large. My only minor complaint is that there's only one sink. Everything else was great! There's a small sofa bed, so it could even work for a family of five if you don't mind a bit of a squeeze.
