The hotel's facilities are good, the location is great, and the breakfast is also good. However, if you ask me if I'd recommend it, I'd hesitate. My biggest issue with the hotel: no air conditioning. The lobby was comfortably air-conditioned at around 20 degrees Celsius, but the room temperature was over 25 degrees. When I asked the hotel to turn on the A/C, they suggested opening a window. This is listed as a five-star hotel on Ctrip, and I'm unsure if not having air conditioning meets national standards for a five-star property. In the restaurant, there were two coffee machines; one couldn't grind coffee, and the other was incredibly slow. It's unbelievable that getting a cup of coffee at a five-star hotel would be such a hassle. Also, in the second-floor restaurant restroom, facilities like the toilet paper dispenser were broken, which is completely inconsistent with a five-star standard. I've never encountered a hotel like this before.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. What set this hotel apart from others was the abundance of bottled water and a steam iron provided in the room. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the dining area was quite large. Jing Yibing's service was incredibly warm and attentive, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. Honestly, a significant part of my positive impression of this hotel is due to Jing Yibing's outstanding service. A good employee truly enhances a hotel's image.

Guizhou Hotel Guiyang: A Review – Old Landmark, Genuine Hospitality As a long-standing star-rated benchmark on Beijing Road in Guiyang, Guizhou Hotel (comprising Yingbin Tower and Guibin Tower) offers undeniable heritage and convenience. It's right next to a subway station, within walking distance of Qianling Park and Jiaxiu Tower, and provides convenient parking for those driving, making it suitable for both business trips and family vacations. The lobby is grand, featuring local Guizhou ethnic decor. The rooms are spacious and tidy, with comfortable bedding and good soundproofing. The only minor drawback is that some facilities in Yingbin Tower are a bit dated, not as new as those in Guibin Tower. Service is very attentive; check-in at the front desk is quick, and staff proactively offer suggestions for local cuisine and sightseeing routes. Robot deliveries and room service responses are also prompt. The dining is a highlight! The buffet breakfast offers a full spread of Western and Chinese options, including authentic Changwang noodles and sour soup rice noodles. The dinner menu features very authentic Qian cuisine, with dishes like sour soup fish, Siwawa, and fried preserved pork with Houttuynia cordata root tasting genuinely traditional. The banquet halls and private rooms are perfect for entertaining guests. Considering it's a high-end hotel in Guiyang, the price offers good value for money. During peak season, it's advisable to book in advance. The only minor downsides: occasional elevator queues during peak hours and a short wait for seats in the crowded breakfast area. Overall, it's a reliable choice when visiting Guiyang. The Chinese restaurant also offers set menus with delicious dishes.

Nice hotel, and the sticky rice for breakfast was delicious. But why didn't the switchboard answer the phone? I tried calling several times from the hallway using the landline, but no one picked up. I eventually found the hotel's main number and called from my mobile, and then someone finally answered.

1. I have to complain about the hotel's fresh air system! Guiyang has been getting warmer lately, and the room I stayed in got a lot of sun during the day. When I came back to the hotel after being out, around 4 PM, the thermometer on the table showed 28.5 degrees Celsius. I turned on the air conditioning but it didn't work. When I called, they said the temperature was centrally controlled. I told them it was unbearably hot and asked for a fan. It took a long time for them to send one after I contacted the front desk, and the children's slippers I'd asked for initially also took almost 40 minutes to arrive. However, I have to praise the floor attendant; she kept looking for fans for me when there weren't enough. It was still very hot past 11 PM, and my child couldn't stand the heat, but the fan was noisy, so I had to turn it off to sleep. 2. On the day of check-in, I had my child with me, but the front desk didn't proactively offer children's toiletries or slippers. I assumed they didn't have any, but then at breakfast the next morning, I saw other children wearing them. I had to discuss it with the front desk again that day. 3. The hotel offers good value for money, but the details still need improvement!

This hotel far exceeded my expectations! The location is excellent, making it easy to get to the Fountains and Jiaxiu Tower, and there's a shopping mall right next door. The hotel's decor is grand and stylish, and even the disposable amenities in the room incorporate local ethnic design, which was a nice touch. The cleanliness was absolutely impeccable. It was the perfect ending to my trip to Guizhou.

Stayed at Guiyang Hotel during the ***** New Year. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were all very polite and welcoming. My child had an upset stomach, and when Manager Jin Yibing found out, she proactively offered to have the kitchen prepare some congee for him, which really touched us as parents. The hotel breakfast was very rich and varied. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Guiyang!

But the breakfast restaurant was a different story. Other places might be crowded too, but they're not this chaotic. If it's too busy, they could limit access. I searched everywhere for a seat and finally asked a staff member if she could help me find one. She gave me an impatient, cold look, tersely said, 'Everyone's busy right now,' and just walked away. I then found a male staff member who at least offered a solution, suggesting I ask if the empty seats were available. Honestly, your restaurant has five-star hardware but three-star service quality. They really need some training. On a positive note, the breakfast restaurant had glutinous rice balls, which were quite unique. But you had to queue for them. I'd suggest considering preparing them in advance in the future.

The hotel is located in the old town, right next to a subway entrance. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good – I slept soundly until morning. The location is convenient for getting around, and the front desk staff were warm and attentive.

The subway is right downstairs, and there's a shopping mall next door with a Starbucks, even a McDonald's! Taxis are also super convenient. What really stood out was the generous supply of bottled water. It's close to Jiaxiu Tower and the Catholic Church, and you can even get Guiyang sticky rice for breakfast.

The hotel's location is fantastic; there are two subway lines right downstairs, making it super convenient to get anywhere. It's perfect for exploring sights like Wutaishan Scenic Area, Beijing Road, and Qianling Park. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Guiyang for the first time!

Stay: The Executive Building feels newly renovated. The rooms are spacious, and all the facilities are quite new. The location is incredibly convenient; you can get there from the airport in under an hour by taking Line 2 then transferring to Line 1. Line 3 is also at the same station, making it super easy to visit all the popular spots. We even came back to the hotel for a quick rest, grabbed a restaurant number, and headed out again. Eat: The breakfast had everything you'd expect, plus the special Guiyang glutinous rice, which always had a long queue. Service: The staff always tried their best to resolve any issues we had, and the delivery robots even brought takeout right to our room.

I was initially torn between the Kempinski, Hyatt, and Guizhou Hotel, but ultimately chose the Guizhou Hotel for its location, and I was pleasantly surprised! It's incredibly convenient, just a couple of steps from the subway exit, and not far from the city's main attractions. The room was really big and spacious, and the cleanliness was great. The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations, with a wide variety of options, and several of the local Guizhou snacks and noodles were absolutely delicious.

This is my second stay here, and even though it's in the old town, the transportation nearby is convenient, especially with the food street being so close. The hotel's service, environment, and cleanliness are all excellent, making for a very satisfying experience. The buffet is also quite extensive. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.
