Quite good hotel located near ancient town, breakfast is delicious, however you need to pay extra for the swimming pool. Gym is free though and well-equipped. bed is big and comfortable. Restaurant in the nearby hotel is very expensive. You can use coffee machine anytime of the day to make a cup of coffee. Overall, not bad.

The Holiday Inn Express is located in Longjing Village, near Qingyan. I'd visited Qingyan before and wanted to return for the great food, so I looked for a new spot. Longjing Village is supposedly a newly developed attraction, with several artisan silver shops and batik workshops there. We arrived late that day, and the entire Longjing Village area had very few shops open, and not much to explore. I hope it was just the off-season, as many shops were already closed by the time we got there.

Two hotels (holiday inn express and holiday inn resort) are connected in one premise which is nearby the qingyan old village. The hotel itself is embraced by the mountains and fields....a place where good for leisure. The room is clean and tidy. Room rate includes complimentary breakfast, you can have salad, fresh machine made coffee and freshly cooked noodle as our breakfast. Gym and swimming poo as well as self service laundry needs extra charge to guests in holiday inn express but if you're the worldwide member then you can enjoy for free in some facilities. Overall ok for just staying for short trip.

The room I booked on Ctrip was upgraded by the front desk to a room opposite the emergency staircase. It was great. The door squeaked and closed all night long. The walls of the room were as soundproof as paper. I could hear the lights being turned off next door. The air conditioner also made a constant clicking sound all night long.
