We booked this hotel after reading other reviews, we booked a 2 bed apar**ent and was fully aware there was one aircon unit in the living area, upon arrival late at night we checked in and my husband said we would pay for the safe and aircon in the morning, when entering our room all the doors and windows where open and the room was very hot, we understand there was a heatwave but the aircon was not doing anything, we then spoke to reception and he came up and said there was nothing wrong with it, so we asked to borrow the fan from reception, we had no sleep as it was just too hot. My husband asked to speak to the Manager as we had spoken with another guest who had stayed there before and they said they had just been moved as theirs wasn't working properly, we spoke to another guest and he said his was so cold he had to turn it off so it clearly wasn't to do with the heatwave!! he told us another lady in his party with small children had spent 6 nights putting wet towels on her children so they could sleep she then complained and her aircon was sorted, they have also stayed there before, they said it had changed there from previous years and would not be returning! The manager was adamant there was nothing wrong with the aircon but my breath produced colder air than the aircon!! He just kept saying it was a heatwave! we asked to speak to rep as an argument broke out with my husband and the manager, 2 reps turned up and they where briefed by the hotel staff so also told us there was nothing wrong with the aircon, the thing that got me was how the smirked in your face and made out they did not speak English! my husband said we know it's not a 5* hotel but we expect a working aircon, the toilet seat was cracked and the shower head just sprayed out and you had to hold it and there was a leak so the living area was all wet, we have since been blamed for wrecking the apar**ent! the rep said to my husband but you said it was a cheap holiday! we asked to speak to an actual area manager 2 lovely people turned up and they agreed the aircon was not producing any air, the manager argued with them also saying there was nothing wrong with the aircon and it was a heatwave, so at this point we where advised the manager didn't want us at the hotel and we wanted to move anyway, my husband did become quite confrontational but after 3 days of no sleep, being lied to and treated like crap, also our disabled son was starting to struggle due to the lack of sleep and heat at night, we then moved to a different hotel and guess what during the heatwave the aircon was working and the manager was lovely and the rest of our holiday was fantastic. As per previous comment from hotel manager we did not say we would apologise to him to enable us to stay at his hotel as we wanted to leave, and we did not have to pay the full price of accommodation at the next hotel as the manager stated, we also had no problem paying for aircon that was actually cooling our room, when we moved w
