Hampton Inn Guntersville

When booking we asked that my wife and I be next door to our friend who was going on a fishing trip with us. We also asked to be facing the back parking lot in order to keep an eye on our boat.  We were told it was taken care of.  When we arrived, we were on two separate floors and neither room faced the back lot.  When I told the front desk about it, there was just the “oh man” response with no attempt to offer to rectify the problem.  We got no room service on our last night there.

Great first impression of the property. Once we arrived we received extremely pleasant service. Quick and easy check in. Room was very clean and comfortable. Every member of the staff we encountered spoke and were very friendly. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Mostly excellent. Was a bit disappointed in the fitness room, however. Several of the exercise machines were improperly configured or calibrated. Excellent fitness facilities are among my reasons for choosing Hampton Inn hotels. This is why I downgraded my evaluation from a 5 to a 4.

Refrigerator was broken. Told the front desk, nothing was done about it. Called to speak with a manager. Was told the manager was unavailable. I was then put on hold and told “I just spoke with the manager.” So was the manager there and didn’t want to speak with me or was this an employee saying “she was the manager?”

The room was ok. The room was not what we booked and the staff just said she could do nothing to rectify the situation.

We’ve stayed in many hotels and we thought our experience at this hotel could not have been better! The hotel and adjacent area was clean and the room was very neat and clean. Beth and the entire staff were very friendly and welcoming! Great experience!!

The hotel was clean, quiet and close to a local grocery store. The breakfast was served promptly @6 with many options for the young and mature eaters. I would definitely recommend for your stay.

Clean, staff was great. Only thing was the pull out couch was broken in my room, but we made it work for a toddler.

Hampton in Guntersville is clean, modern, nice people and close to many good restaurants
