GwangJu SunFlower Hostel

Suitable for the price and near Chonnam National University and their is some night street around the hotel around 5 min , not really clean for the toilet btw is suitable for the price , recommend if you are transferring in Gwangju to Jeju for two night

Came back and booked the same place again since the room was cheap and a private room.

EXCELLENT VALUE for the price- private room with ensuite, mini-fridge, A/C worked great, towels and soap provided, owner is extremely friendly, and responsiveto to any message from the Trip.com app. I would definitely stay again.

The staff is nice but the place is filthy. I found a hair that is clearly too long to be mine in the bedsheets and some stains on the bed sheets too…

This guesthouse was cheap, and the room was decently sized. It is a bit far from the Cafe Street and even further from the 5.18 Memorial Park, but it is a good place to stay for going to Mudeungsan. Overall, the distance isn't too bad, but you do have to travel a little while. As for cleanliness, it was clean, but there were still some hair in the rug in the room. The bed was firm, but I had no issues sleeping. I would consider staying here again if I returned to Gwangju.

It’s in a great area close to many bus stops, restaurants and cafes. It’s easy to find and very clean. It’s quite at night time too. Thank you!!!!

Located near Chonnam University. There's an ensuite bathroom, a working TV and even a heated blanket, so it was a comfortable stay during winter. The bathroom is small so everything will get wet when you take a shower, but it wasn't an issue for me. Very helpful host, they even gave me a SIM card with data and Korean number after knowing I was staying in Korea for a month. Overall a pleasant stay in Gwangju. I personally feel location is also good with CU right outside and easy connection with buses around.
