Zhongshan Hotels with Gym

The towels were not so clean, one day there's little hair falling out from the towel, very short, like dried shaved mustache which won't appear from my side as I'm female and traveled alone. Another day after the room is cleaned, the new door mat towel on the shower room bar was contaminated with at least three dark scratches, I tried to turn over to use another side and discovered both sides had black traces on it. The gym room only has two running machines. I saw staff trying to transport some other rack to the room, but they took them away eventually, it would be good if they can put more amenities there. Overall the room is very spacious and good, but the tv's wifi broken down twice on 2 days during my stay, and I couldn't use the project screen function to enjoy movie watching for a while. The washing machine and dryers are quite good. It's good for long time travelers, they even have steam ironing machine. Overall, the design of the rooms, entrance lobby, reception lobby, Landry room, breakfast lounge and gym room in the hotel are quite nice. There's robot to deliver take away to the room, and I tried using this service to see the robot, on my last day of staying, unluckily, a staff knocked on my door and said the other staff entered the wrong room number and the robot went to the wrong room, so he delivered the take away to me. It's disappointing because I was excited to see how this robotic technology works. Anyway, it's not a big deal.

We brought our kids for a 'hotelcation' at the end of the summer holidays. The hotel staff were generally polite and enthusiastic, providing excellent service. My kids went swimming three times over two days. The pool is heated, and the depth ranges from 0.8-1.4cm, making it suitable for children. It gets quite crowded in the afternoons on weekends with so many families, but it's worth it to see the kids having fun. There's also another warm multi-bubble pool, which is great for younger children. On the same floor, there's a gym and a kids' play area. The gym is clean and has nice views. The kids' play area isn't huge but it's clean, has a ball pit, and kept the kids entertained for a while. We purchased a package that included a buffet dinner and breakfast. The buffet dinner wasn't particularly impressive, but for around 200 yuan, it was about what you'd expect. For the weekend buffet breakfast, you had to queue up after 9 AM, but the staff would seat you. There was a good variety of both Chinese and Western options, pretty standard fare. The room was comfortable and well soundproofed. Many Hong Kongers and foreigners stay here. The hotel even provides bathtub liners, which is a nice touch. The only downside was that the room service was a bit slow on the night we checked in due to how many guests there were.

The Hilton Zhongshan, a five-diamond hotel, has comprehensive basic facilities and decent hygiene. As it's an older hotel, there's naturally some disparity compared to newer establishments in various aspects. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for both transportation and dining. Both the front desk and room service staff were quite good; items requested were delivered promptly. The front desk attendant, Xia Tian, who checked us in, was very welcoming and thoughtful. She arranged our two rooms, which had different check-in times, on the same floor and even provided breakfast vouchers for the children. It was a very pleasant stay overall.

The hotel is clean and tidy, the room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent, so I slept very well. The front desk service was warm and attentive, check-in was quick, and they thoughtfully provided recommendations for local attractions. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient transportation and a wide variety of dining options nearby. Overall, it offers great value for money, and my stay was fantastic. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit and highly recommend it!

The hotel is located in the heart of Zhongshan's old town, near Sunwen West Road Pedestrian Street, and next to Qijiang Park and Qijiang River. However, the hotel's decor and facilities are quite old, and the room amenities are not fully stocked. For example, there's only one box of tissues, so if it's in the bathroom, there are none by the bed. There's only one bar of soap and no hand soap. There's only a black shoe brush, but no shoe shine cloth – what about white shoes? The toothbrushes and bottled water are also of low quality. The service attitude, amenities, and facilities should really take a page from Atour Hotels. The breakfast variety is rich and the taste is decent, but not particularly outstanding, just typical for a five-star hotel.

We're so grateful for her gentle and warm attitude, and how actively she responded to all our needs. She was patient and thorough in answering all our questions about activities during our stay, showing great thoughtfulness and professionalism. She truly made us feel at home, and the service was absolutely top-notch. We are extremely satisfied!

Check in and check out was prompt Breakfast is value for money Hotel room was very large and clean (Premiier Queen Room) water pressure and toilet bowl functioned well had toothpaste and brush amenity, slippers available location of hotel is close to many restaurants and short taxi drive away from other shops improvements 1.need to add a garbage bin in washroom area and not just next to the toilet 2.side vanity mirror in washroom was useless as the arms cannot extend closer to your face to view 3. door to toilet bowl was very hard to open... due to air pressure. 4. toilet bowl is so stuffy with no ventilation 5. provide more than 1 toilet roll 6. bathtub has no side handles... difficult and slippery to get in and out of bathtub 7.room was so big as compared to the TV display size 8. USB cable provided to charge phone was slow 9. check into a non smoking room on 9th floor, but hallway had lots of smoke smell from guests who were smoking in their room. hotel needs to manage this better 10. front desk should provide a spare key card to open the air conditioning even when not in the room 11. Do not disturb light is useless without a key card 12. room included transportation benefit of up to 10KM... but need to book at least 2 hours in advance... so could not use as can't plan for such a short trip in such a short time.... may as well take a taxi . also included laundry for 5 items... can't use for a 1 day trip. consider other benefits for short term customers

Three-day holiday weekend including Children's Day, an hour's drive from Guangzhou. Decided to find a hotel to just relax, and chose this one. Came to Zhongshan for the crispy grass carp and squab. Stayed for multiple nights and received complimentary breakfast: They gave us two, but we only ate one day. It was pretty good actually, food quality was standard, not a huge variety but more than enough. The pool was heated, a bit heavy on the chlorine smell, but still quite fun. The room's cleanliness could use improvement. Visible dust on many surfaces was quite noticeable. Saved by the excellent service attitude though. Definitely a plus.

The hotel is right in the city center, making it very convenient for transportation. There are tons of great food options nearby too. The room itself was bright and comfortable, and I really appreciated having access to the gym and outdoor swimming pool. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious choices. Definitely recommend! 👍
