GGuest UserExcellent Apartment is in a modern building on a complex of other modern towers, very nice. There are covenience stores, restaurants, gyms, bakery pharmacy all within a very short walking distance. There is also a mall nearby The apartment was newly renovated, very clean and comfortable with a nice sofa and projector which you can cast to from your phone. It was spacious too. Lots of spaces to put luggage and big wardrobes for clothes. I felt at home here Also a washing machine which is invaluable if you are on a long holiday, and nice balcony where you can hang clothes to dry Host was very kind and helped with all my requests within minutes. The only downside was the particular apartment I stayed in overlooked a major junction and the road noise was high. But they have apartments on the other side of the of the building too, so just discuss with them if that's a major issue.

AAnova volkovaMy husband and I stayed in two types of apartments — a small studio and a larger unit — and we were absolutely satisfied with both. Here is our honest and detailed review that may help future guests. 1. Host • Very friendly, honest, and attentive. • Always smiling and ready to help. • It was truly pleasant to say goodbye in person — you can feel the genuine care for guests. 2. Location • Convenient area with everything you need nearby. • Quiet, safe, and comfortable for long-term living. 3. Comfort & Atmosphere • Both apartments are clean, bright, and cozy. • Thoughtful lighting and interior details create a warm, relaxing environment. • The view from the window is especially inspiring. • Feels very much like home. 4. Space (Studio & Larger Apartment) Studio: • Compact yet perfectly functional. • Great for short stays or calm remote work. Larger Apartment: • Spacious, with multiple zones for work and relaxation. • You can choose a spot depending on your mood: • the sofa, • comfortable chairs, • dining table, • a proper workstation with two ergonomic chairs, • or the balcony. • As artists, we truly appreciated the aesthetic and ergonomic design. 5. Kitchen & Equipment • Fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for proper cooking. • Includes: • dishes, • knives, • cutting board, • stove, • pots and pans, • all essential cooking utensils. • Cooking was easy and enjoyable. 6. Laundry & Practical Amenities • A washing machine is available, which is perfect for long stays. • Clothes drying area is on the balcony, so laundry dries quickly and smells fresh. • The bathroom is well-equipped and everything works perfectly. 7. Additional Advantages • Excellent conditions for work, sport, and personal development. • A gym nearby, which we enjoyed visiting regularly. • The courtyard of the complex is beautifully designed and features: • multiple children’s playgrounds, • game areas, • fountains, • benches, • several outdoor pools with sun loungers. • Inside the complex, there is also a wonderful indoor swimming pool. • Wi-Fi worked very well throughout our entire stay. • A perfect balance of price, comfort, and overall quality. 8. Overall Impression We sincerely recommend these apartments. They are perfect for both short and long-term stays. We felt incredibly comfortable and are truly grateful to the host for such a warm and thoughtful experience. We will remember this place with great warmth and will gladly return when we come back to Hanoi!

SShatoudeshurenThe hotel boasts an excellent location and elegant surroundings, both inside and out. Its facilities are comprehensive and well-appointed, and the rooms are immaculately clean. The dining options are diverse, complemented by attentive service. The check-in process and welcome were exceptionally warm, thoughtful, and attentive. I also had the pleasure of meeting the lobby manager, who had spent a decade working in China and possessed a profound understanding of Chinese history and culture.

GGuest UserI don't understand how can this hotel get a 9.3 rating and rated as a 5 star hotel in trip.com. when I reached I felt deceived, this is just a 3 star hotel. Room is so small. And with the price I paid about 85 euro, I think you better go to Fraser Suites still one of the best in Hanoi. This hotel is one of my worst hotel in Vietnam. When you enter the toilet has a big smell and the sink is blocked. Imagine at 11pm already dead tired and shower halfway with a block sink and flooded floor. See the photo. How can a hotel design the floor sink like this. There is no slot to contain the water and if it's blocked it will overflow of course to the dry floor. Such a stupid design and not to mentioned the smell. The manager know exactly this room has a problem when he came but still provide this room to me. This is the point that make me furious. I manage to change to a new room and this room is better with no block sink but the room felt outdated and small. . Most importantly there is a constant water flowing water noise that I don't know is it from the neighbour or from upper ceiling. In general there is simply no insulation and noisy when people walk by. I felt like want to check out after my first night but its a non refundable. No choice. Overall it is a nightmare for me. Breakfast is average. Positive side the staff is ok. I will never trust the rating in trip.com of 9.3 or Google rating 4.8. just cannot believe it and I booked it to try due to good rating but end up quite disappointed. Anyway in general as advice try to avoid most hotel within the old town and look for Novotel suites, Fraser suites that are located outside from the touristic old town to get the best value for money and just use Grab if you want to visit the old town.

GGuest UserLa Siesta Classic Ma May gave us a good first impression of Hanoi because they were the first hotel we stayed at in Vietnam for our 16-day trip. Great customer service! They have good breakfast buffet selection considering they have only about 54 rooms. We stayed at one of the executive rooms on the top floor with the sky bar above our floor. The room is classy and nice. Considering it is at the old quarter where space is a scarce commodity, the room is quite spacious. My friend stayed at another hotel in Hanoi just a block away. She told me the sewage system at her hotel is typical to hotels in the old quarter where you are not supposed to flush the toilet paper down the toilet; you need to use a hose to clean yourself first and throw the tissue paper to a bucket. And so I was prepared for that. Surprisingly La Siesta Classic May May's system is much better; we can flush the paper in the toilet. That is a bonus! The staff at the breakfast buffet were very efficient and super friendly. Dung Nguyen treated us like royals; she was basically our butler for our entire stay...from serving us at the breakfast buffet to keeping an eye out for our private car rides. We checked out from the hotel and stayed on an overnight cruise at the Halong Bay, but had to return to La Siesta Classic May May to be picked up by a pre-arranged car ride. When we went in to the hotel lobby to wait for our ride due to the rain, Dung came over and addressed me by my name! Now that's what I called customer service!! I recommend this hotel :)

AAnonymous UserFantastic place to stay for a first trip to Hanoi! Excellent staff service - my flight arrived in the middle of the night, after city flooding, so no Grab transport from the airport, only extortionate prices from fake Grab drivers. The hotel promptly arranged driver for me. Really appreciated, given the very late time of night and being a solo female traveller. Hotel was spotless. Excellent breakfast, with lovely views of city rooftops! Great location, countless coffee shops, close to city bus tour pick up too! Good/quiet night's sleep, despite being in centre. Would stay again!!

MMelodymengThe hotel is about an hour's drive from the airport and 30 minutes from the city center. There are many small supermarkets and convenience stores nearby. If you're here for tourism, there isn't much to see or do around the hotel. Its main selling points are the affordable price and the relatively clean rooms. However, I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're planning to sightsee or are looking for a transit stop.

DDanielleKateA stay brushed in gold — beautiful, with a few areas to refine
. Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi Golden Lake is certainly visually striking. The hotel is incredibly photogenic, and while the overall experience was lovely in many ways, it leaned more towards being aesthetically impressive than feeling like a seamless 5-star stay. 📍 Location
The location is quieter and less central than the Old Quarter, which is worth considering if you enjoy being close to major attractions. That said, the lakeside setting created a calm, peaceful atmosphere that we really appreciated. ✨ Highlights
The personalised service from the front desk and door staff was a real highlight. They remembered our names and room number throughout our stay, which felt thoughtful and welcoming. Our room was spacious and the lake view was genuinely beautiful. The gym was clean, updated, and perfectly adequate for a comfortable workout. The buffet breakfast offered a wide range of options and variety. ⚠️ Areas for improvement
There were a few small details that, with a little more attention, could elevate the experience even further. We were provided with an ironing board that wasn’t in working condition and an iron that was missing parts, which caused a slight delay to our plans one morning. A replacement iron was provided, however it was marked and unfortunately left a small stain on one of my garments. The pickleball court was located in a basement area that felt a little unfinished and could benefit from some added care and presentation. The rooftop pool offered lovely skyline views, however the space itself felt quite quiet, with worn lounge chairs and limited ambience. A poolside bar or some soft music could really enhance the atmosphere and make this area more inviting. One evening, an event held above our room resulted in music and drums being audible late into the night, which impacted rest. Better soundproofing could help ensure guest comfort during events. The laundry service was priced at the higher end, and a price list wasn’t provided. While we could have asked in advance, clearer upfront pricing would have made the experience a little smoother. Breakfast service was pleasant, though it felt less interactive compared to other 4- and 5-star hotels we stayed at in Hanoi, where staff were especially proactive in checking in with guests, offering recommendations, and seeking feedback. 🌿 Final thoughts
A very beautiful hotel with warm front-facing staff, spacious rooms, and lovely views. With a little more attention to detail and consistency in service, this property has the potential to offer a truly exceptional luxury experience. A wonderful stay in many ways, with just a few opportunities to shine even brighter.

GGuest UserFirst impressions- feels like a hotel a middle aged business man would stay at. It’s not shiny and new and not much personality. The staff are helpful and kind. The rooms are spacious and the bed and pillows are comfortable. The shower is not great. We had a tub/ shower and the shower head had zero pressure so impossible to have a proper shower. We had to use the other hand held shower head which had good pressure, but you had to shut it off soap, rinse off, shut it off wash your hair rinse off, so it was a bit of a pain in the ass. The a/c is cold and the water is hot. The gym was decent and you can get a workout in. The pool has a constant film of pollution on it because the filter doesn’t run on a regular basis it seems. So I only put my feet in. It didn’t look that clean and the pool area isn’t maintained on a constant basis. The breakfast was average. I can say the coffee was strong. It the food to us was pretty basic so we barely found anything appealing. Poor fruit selection. The bread looked and tasted like it did not come fresh from a bakery but from a package. There seemed to be a little of everything but not much of anything if that makes sense. We much preferred to go out and eat very fresh Vietnamese breakfast on the street. Sometimes I think people just eat it because it’s included, but honestly it was just not for us. We did really like the area. At first glance there doesn’t seem like much is going on but walk 10 min in any direction and there is a lot going on! We moved out of the old quarter to get more of a local feel and this area is certainly that. Plus it doesn’t have the inflated costs that come with the touristy Old Quarter. Overall the hotel feels tired but it’s clean and your basic needs are met. They do have very good towels. We would probably stay again because we love the area but would also look around to see what other hotel options we could find. So depends what your expectations are and what you need from a hotel.

XXtininingWe had a two-day stay at their serviced apartment. We were impressed by the wide range of their international dishes served for breakfast buffet. Also, there were a lot of amenities to choose from- swimming pool, gym, spa, sauna, steambath & mini mart. Their supervisor, Ms. La can speak multiple languages too– Japanese, Mandarin, and Korean. The bed was so comfortable- linens were clean. The location is accessible and near the city centre. It's surrounded with a lot of shops. Keeping the Japanese standard of service. Worth recommending!
