Fare Aute Beach

We really enjoyed staying at Fare Aute. Mervine is very friendly and helpful. The place is super clean and she checked every day if we needed anything. There are free canoes to use. The kitchen is well equipped. We had a wonderful time.

It was very peaceful and quiet. Small but cute private beach. We met the owners who were friendly and hospitable. Mervine the lady who comes everyday to help is a ray of sunshine and very helpful

Lovely, helpful staff see you to this ocean side bungalow with kitchen facilities, comfortable bed and great deck where you can sit and enjoy the sight of the reef. Snorkelling right from your private beach yields coral and tropical fish from the shore. A couple of downsides: there are no staples like sugar, coffee, salt, etc in the kitchen; there is no comfortable chair so you either sit on the bed or you are upright at the table; the reception is only there for assistance for an hour or so per day.

The property has its own private beach. The people are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

What a great find! Beachfront property with a excellent view (although the beach was somewhat rocky)! "Poe" (property mgr) was a kind soul and was always there if we needed anything. King bed downstairs and singles in the upstairs loft. This property doesn't have A/C, so it does get somewhat warm during the day, but the Pacific breeze cools the space at night. Good value for the money!

The location is far from all the tourist places. So you need a car. The host did not help with car hire. She said she could not help because of her boss. The host was difficult to get in contact with. The best way was via e-mail. Hence answers take time! Although there was a small shop, we have up using it because we could not get hold of the owner. It was difficult to unlock the bikes. Again, it would have been great with help from the host. The kayaks were great. And the view from the bungalow. The bungalow was dark and felt "cheap" with eg. plastic in the ceiling. On the first floor it was extremely hot. There were no extra bags for rubbish, so quickly it started to smell. We were offered breakfast but it was extremely expensive, so be bought breakfast for ourselves instead.
