Traveling as a couple with a baby in March 2023. First place of our trip to Sri Lanka. Immediately, we were greeted by the staff members with a big smile. The villa is spacious, clean and the garden is simply beautiful. You wake up to the sound of birds, surrounded by plants, flowers and trees. The pool is fabulous. Special mention to the incredible kindness of the staff. The chef of the kitchen, on site, concocted small dishes on request, for us and our baby. It was simply delicious. A big thank you to the whole team, we hope to come back one day.

Houses with 2 very large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. well cared for Surroundings of gardens and swimming pool very quiet. They clean and change sheets and towels every 3 days. You can cook at home. Close to a great and lonely beach.

The hotel complex Tisara Villas presents itself in a new style. Most of the nine villas have been renovated and I think the renovation has been done very well. The natural lightness combined with the light, rustic furnishings in beige, white and light sand colors is the new ambience that fits perfectly into this beautiful tropical garden. Windows were let into the terrace doors, a simple idea leads to more brightness in the rooms. A great effect! Beautiful pictures and accessories on the walls set color accents. The staff is very helpful with things like shopping at the local market, preparing a meal at the villa, choosing a menu or snacks for lunch or dinner. The chef's salad and fresh fruit lunch is a delicious, light meal in a tropical climate. The hotel complex has a pool, and in the office or at the entrance of the complex you can order a tuktuk or a car with a driver for excursions. An information folder with prices for TukTuk rides in the surrounding area and information for tourist attractions is available in every villa. In my opinion, this beautiful gem is well suited and recommended for nature lovers, small groups, families and solo travelers alike!

Das Koggala Beach Hotel ist mehr als nur ein Strandhotel. Ob Terrasse, Balkon, alle Zimmer des Hotels haben einen traumhaften Blick auf den indischen Ozean. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend für die Größe der Zimmer und die schöne, direkte Strandlage. Die Einrichtung mit klassischen Stilmöbeln und den warmen Farben bilden ein familiäres und angenehmes Ambiente. Das Personal im Koggala Beach Hotel ist freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, zum Beispiel beim Bestellen eines TukTuks für eine Besichtigungstour in der näheren Umgebung, oder auch mal für das Geldwechseln an der Rezeption, wenn die Banken gerade geschlossen haben. Das Hotel bietet im Restaurant abwechslungsreiche Mahlzeiten. Ich konnte während meines Aufenthaltes zwischen Buffet und a la Carte-Menü wählen. Zum Frühstück, werden verschiedene Brot-, Kuchen-,Obstsorten und verschiedne sri lankesische Mahlzeiten angeboten. Kaffee, Tee und frische Säfte stehen zur Verfügung. Ein schönes Chili-Omelette ist eine guter Start in den Tag. Meine Empfehlung zum Abendessen: der gebratene Fisch mit Gemüsevariationen, hübsch ein Glas Sauce in der Mitte des Tellers drapiert. Ein schöner kreativer Hingucker, denn das Auge ist mit. Schmeckt einfach lecker, und sieht gut aus! Das gegrillte Hähnchen mit Pommes frites und Gemüse oder Salat ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Es ist also für das leibliche Wohl für jeden etwas dabei. Die Meeresbrandung am Koggala Beach kann starke Strömungen haben, das ist ganz normal auf Sri Lanka, man muß nur etwas Achtgeben beim Baden im Meer. Wem diese Wellen etwas zur stark sind, muß jedoch nicht auf ein erfrischendes Bad verzichten, der hoteleigene Pool lädt zum schwimmen ein. Das Hotel ist ein guter Standort für Ausflüge zum Beispiel zur Schildkröten-Farm, zu dem Tempel von Dickwella und zur Stadt Galle. Das Koggala Beach Hotel ist für Gruppen, Familien mit Kindern und Singles geeignet. Dieses Strandhotel schafft eine gute Symbiose zwischen schönem Strand, Kultur und das zu einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
