Hilton the Hague

The staff were very welcoming, the room was clean, it was my second stay at this property. I was just missing bath robes and slippers. Overall it was a nice stay.

We are not ones to “ throw shade” and thought long and hard about posting this …. We were accommodated in room 204, a twin room In October 2025 What we enjoyed: Fantastic location . Comfortable room. Great breakfast. What we didn’t appreciate: 1) super low water pressure …. It took forever to shower but we thought that it was due to age of building and didn’t complain 2) Returning to room at end of day one: rubbish bin was placed on writing table 3) Returning to room at end of day two: bed sheets on floor, one bed made, the other appeared hurriedly made and possible someone’s body imprint on the bed Complaint made and two blond ladies from mgt came ( we assumed from housekeeping) quickly took away the sheets and arranged for the cleaners to come 3) Returning to room at end of day three: one bed made and now the other bed half made 4) we wanted some tea to warm up while waiting for someone to come up to address our concerns but found hair in the cup!! 5) also found sweet wrapper under the bed! 6) this Hilton has really poor service recovery ! no one from management came to follow-up on the issues with an explanation even though I specifically requested this from the duty manager Mace, who happened to be off duty thereafter!!!!! When I asked at the front desk, no one had any knowledge of the incidents ! Mace had offered to bring tea from the restaurant when he saw the hair in the cup but returned empty handed! The worst part is that a charge of 90 euros came in the midst of all this going on for the extension of the room we had requested for on the first day and was told would be settled at check out! Nice timing Mace!!! We appreciate that they moved us to another room of the same specs only after the second incident. Even though this was a “ club room”, it was an upgrade only for the water pressure being normal!!! Do not expect much the club room… .. Where are the housekeeping managers and the General manager in all of this? No where to be found! Choose somewhere else to stay and if you have to stay there please make a run for it if it is room 204!!! Acutely disappointed with Hilton …!

This is the first time for us to stay here. The hotel room and the bathroom is quite large. The location is perfect, silent and safe. We really love this hotel.

The amenities is perfect, but service is really bad, I can’t quite believe this is service level of 5 star hotel. Working staff directly open my door at morning- TWICE, while I’m literally sleeping… there is definitely a system that you can check whether guest checked out or not right? How can it be possible to just open the guest’s door to see if they already left or not? That’s just plain rude and kinda ruin your mood

It’s a fantastic hotel in den haag, staff are very helpful and friendly, room is big and comfy. Highly recommend!!
