Vidike Hotel (cdf Haikou International Duty Free City)

This booking was so bad it was just a scam. First this is not actually a hotel but random apartments inside a poorly maintained residential building. The information they show here is not true. I booked the Sea View 4-15 Floor with days in advance, but when I arrived they claimed they only had a 3 floor or a 5 floor with blocked view. I reached Trip customer service and they only offered a refund which was totally useless at 10 pm. So I took the 3rd floor but then it was terrible. They took 3 pictures of me!!! Just like if I was a suspect... but then the apartment was already damaged and full of disgusting stains everywhere!! The room gets full of light at night because the toilets have a very stupid design with a glass window directly to the outside corridor and a glass door inside, so every time any neighbor makes any noise even inside their house the apartment gets full of light from the corridor. That 3 floor also had very annoying lamp posts in front which force to close the curtains. By midnight it was clear I couldnt sleep there so I abandoned the place and took the night ferry instead. Three days later I still got no response from Trip, so after many years I wont use this website anymore and if I ever need to book out of emergency it can only be the cheapest room they sell, because they no longer offer guarantee of service or any kind of client rights protection. If they tried to ruin my trip in purpose they would not do anything different! The worst booking ever!!!
