Crazy!!!
Avoid this hotel at all costs! It completely shattered my trust in this international chain and was, without a doubt, the worst and most disappointing accommodation experience of my entire travel life.
1. **Arrival and Exterior:**
The hotel is hidden in an indescribable area. Even if you're staying, do NOT arrive after dark. It gives you a 'discovery' feeling, as you trek through a rough, dusty, potholed path that looks like a mix of wasteland and construction site, requiring considerable courage. The so-called 'Wyndham' sign is tiny, almost invisible. The access lane in front of the hotel is extremely poorly designed, making vehicle entry and exit incredibly difficult and easily causing traffic jams. The 'lobby' entrance has no grandeur whatsoever, a far cry from the brand image.
2. **Public Areas: Shockingly 'Dirty, Disordered, and Dilapidated'**
Whether it's the outdoor terrace or the internal corridors, the floor tiles are stained and heavily worn, and the edges of the white walls are peeling. The outdoor area at night is dimly lit, desolate, and dilapidated, exuding an unsettling chilliness that is completely devoid of the sophistication and warmth expected of a high-end hotel.
**Elevator area:** The elevators themselves are old, lack any sense of quality, and are generally in a state of disrepair.
**Corridors and blind spots:** The 'platform' at the end of the corridor is pitch black, like an unfinished construction site, a truly alarming sight. The ceiling and wall junctions are caked with dust and hair, a complete hygiene nightmare. The wall next to the fire safety equipment shows obvious rough repair marks, forming an ironic contrast with the brand-new fire safety poster. The elevator and corridor walls are covered with shocking, long scratches and scuff marks, clearly from rough use or handling. Many wooden surfaces are chipped and damaged. There are obvious cracks and unevenness at the wall joints, indicating extremely poor material quality and construction. The overall impression is that it was hastily renovated with extremely cheap materials and has been completely unmaintained.
3. **Room:** The bathroom and shower in the room had various leaks, and there was a strong disinfectant smell in the room. I don't know if it was for disinfection or to cover up renovation smells, but I woke up with a sore throat after sleeping there all night.
The 'river view' turned out to be nothing more than an air shaft. I don't know what 'panoramic view' is supposed to mean, but none of that matters anymore. What matters is that I managed to escape...
**Summary:**
This is nothing like an international chain hotel; it's more like a 'knock-off' product with out-of-control management, cutting corners at the lowest possible cost. From the exterior environment and public areas to the guest room interiors, the words 'dirty, disordered, poor, and dilapidated' apply throughout. The 'Wyndham' brand here is just a name; the actual experience is completely contrary to the brand's promise.
**Advice for future travelers:**
If you have even the most basic requirements for accommodation quality, please steer clear. The actual condition here goes far beyond 'pictures for reference only'; it's more like 'pictures might be better than reality.' The real photos I've included (covering the exterior, public areas, elevators, corridors, and room details) are direct evidence. Choosing this place is not only a waste of money but also a devastating blow to your travel mood. I have no avenue for complaint other than to leave this honest record here, hoping it serves as a warning to others.
I also hope Ctrip can maintain quality control. Doesn't a hotel that fails so spectacularly reflect poorly on the platform's reputation?
