Banana International Youth Hostel

This hostel has an amazing location, close to Hainan University Night Market and Qilou Old Street, making transport super convenient. The courtyard is fresh with lots of greenery, and the common areas are spacious, featuring a pool table, board games, and a kitchen. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable. The staff are warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and free-spirited, making it perfect for solo young travelers. There's a bus stop right outside, and various shared bikes are available. The value for money is incredible, highly recommended!

This hostel has a superb location, just a 10-minute walk from Haida Food Festival and Qilou Old Street. There's also a river next to the old street where you can cycle and enjoy the breeze. The cleanliness is good, and there are indoor and outdoor common areas on the first floor (couldn't find the pictures!). You'll also find many international guests here, and the landlady speaks fluent English! She's very enthusiastic and high-energy; just a quick chat with her will brighten your day! Highly recommended!

The location is very convenient, less than a kilometer from the Hualien Dongdamen Night Market, and public transportation is easily accessible with a bus stop right outside. The room has a private bathroom, my only complaint is that there were too many mosquitoes. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

Didn't take any photos. The location is good, and it's a decent hostel overall. If I had to pick something outstanding, it's that everyone chats in the lobby in the evenings. But honestly, it only meets the most basic expectations of a hostel, yet people treat it like the gold standard. I've tried two other highly-rated hostels in Hainan, and they were just okay too. Maybe I haven't stayed in a hostel for a long time, or perhaps there are just too few really good hostels in China. Or maybe they should consider raising prices a bit and improving cleanliness.

The facilities are complete, the room is clean, and the check-in experience was good. It's convenient for getting around, and the overall atmosphere is comfortable. The service is attentive and friendly. Overall, I'm satisfied; it offers great value for money and is highly recommended.
