Haiphong Backpacker Hostel

The location is good. The room was clean and quiet. The owner’s wife is very friendry and helpful.

We had to wait a while for someone to check us in, but the man who did was very kind when he arrived (we never met the owner). We slept well, the shower was hot (although a dribble), there was drinking water and a charming balcony. The whole building though did feel very rickety, the room shook when we walked! There was also no toilet roll.

It's hidden in a small ally of a minor road. Therefore it's quiet. The host don't speak English. We can only communicate by Google translate. There were 2 toilets outside my room. However, no toilet paper throughout my 2 days stay! That means nobody came to clean & check the toilets. The property was only bearable, not really clean. Plenty of roadside hawkers selling breakfast, few eating stalls for lunch but they are closed in the evening. Not much choice for dinner

The hygiene is very bad in this hostel ,i woke up with pimples all over my body ,and rommate farting and eating with mouth open it was a horrible experience but the lady down was nice tho

Very kind and helpful owner. There is a/c in the room. They give you towel, gel, shampoo and tooth brush
