We had such a lovely experience, staff were so friendly and rooms spacious, clean and great amenities. We slept on traditional tatami beds, so comfortable and the hotel where so quiet - in a more local part of Hakodate (great for running and walking) onsen was amazing and had good opening times!

This Japanese onsen hotel is new and clean. It’s a good choice of ours as both the hotel spring bath and the room are spacious and environment is quiet and decorated with taste. The breakfast was provided in super nice private rooms and the food was just too good. We highly recommend the hotel to you.

This is a traditional ryokan with Japanese tatami mats and traditional Japanese bedding you have to lay on the floor. The Onsen is okay, not the best I’ve been to. The outdoor pool is small, allowing a maximum of 2-3 people to soak in. I did not try their breakfast as I had to leave early in the morning. Location is far from the centre part of Hakodate. I drove to the location.

The environment is very good, the hot spring is comfortable and elegant, it is close to the scenic spots, and the meals are exquisite.

I really like the atmosphere of a Japanese-style hotel. Living alone, the room is astonishingly large, and I feel like I am Kawabata Yasunari’s painstaking creation hh

It was a purely Japanese restaurant and the service was excellent. It's a bit far from Hakodate Station, but I had a car so it wasn't a problem. I'd like to go again.

Overall it's OK, it's just a very old hotel, the room is small and the things in the room are very old, the sofa, quilt and bed sheets are stained and have holes. The only two points of praise are free parking and a very quiet environment.

Very clean, the service staff makes people feel at home, the naked bathhouse is comfortable, and the Japanese breakfast dining environment is comfortable, allowing people to experience the texture of a traditional Japanese hotel. It is a good hotel that I will stay at again if I have the opportunity.

The room is a Japanese-style room, very beautiful! I put on my bathrobe and went to see the night view of Mt. Hakodate, and then went to bathe again when I came back. The hot spring bath in the hotel is great, I took a bath in the morning and evening! Really love this hotel!

I had a really happy stay! The facilities were great and the interior was very clean and pretty. In particular, the hot springs were a real highlight. The water temperature was perfect and there was an open-air bath, so taking an open-air bath on a snowy night was a truly happy experience. Since the two baths have slightly different designs, it would be a good idea to use them both in the evening and in the morning! However, the unfortunate thing is that in the Trip app, I saw that breakfast was to be paid on site, but when I went there, it said I had to make a reservation in advance. I think it was probably a separate reservation. It was the best except for not having breakfast. Hakodate was also great, and it gave me a reason to stay longer and visit Hakodate again in the future!
