The hotel is located in a very beautiful spot, just a 10-minute walk to the lake. The rooms are clean, the staff is very helpful, and there's a free shuttle bus to the cable car.

We arrived late in the afternoon, and no one told us we needed to reserve the restaurant, so we couldn't eat (there's nothing else around). The toilets were extremely dirty, and breakfast was poor for the price. The onsen was nice, but be careful with your tattoos. I do not recommend this establishment.

Staff members are all friendly and reliable with any of your inquiries. Better book in advance for breakfast and dinner because the whole place in Hakone they don't have much restaurant in the area. Even with a rental car with difficulties to find one. Overall the trip is all worth it.

Excellent service provide by the hotel employees. Do aware that the Japanese Style Room does not come with the bathroom but the staff is willing to accommodate and switch us to English Style room with attached bathroom.

The room was really spacious and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, they also offer shuttle services for restaurants, train stations etc making it very convenient despite the location
