The hotel locates at a remote area but both the telephone and map code are not updated for GPS. Had eventually went to another hotel to ask for direction. No English speaking staff at the reception, except a foreign helper in the restaurant. Most amenities were deserted except the hot springs, lights were off and insufficient heat at the hallways, could be due to the recent recovery from covid. Somehow seemed to had an experience of staying in Hotel California.

Onsen is the best

The hotel service is pretty good. Be sure to book a package that includes dinner. This will be very convenient. The room was okay, quite clean and hygienic, the hot spring was pretty good, and the dinner was overall quite sumptuous.

The remodeled room was cleaner than I expected. The main bath was old, but the water was warm and nice.

The hotel is a little far from Togendai Station, and it takes 10 minutes to get there. The attitude of the staff is also very good, and they can speak English. The dinner and breakfast are also very exquisite, and there are all the facilities. This trip is very cost-effective👍

The hotel is far away from Hakone Yumoto. There is no car in my place. I have to take a mountain bike and then transfer to a bus. Although it is inconvenient, the process is good. On the other hand, because a room for two people is booked, the hotel staff will only make the bed for two people. understandable and acceptable. Because only two people were paid. There is no wild shopping near the hotel, only the souvenir shop in the hotel, so if you want to eat snacks, you have to buy it early in the morning. Finally, Milijian Hotel is near the Baibaihe bus station. It's not Taotai Station, so you have to check the station carefully when you come.

3 things I didn't like knowing full well the affordability / the price tag of the hotel 1. Cheap nato for breakfast and cheap one use chopsticks 2. No view from anywhere within hotel 3. Meal service was just a bit off, like steak was on fry pan, not even a possibility of egg for breakfast even if you order, no tea for supper, etc.

the hotel is very remote. Hotel is ok, breakfast is difficult, if you don't like traditional Japanese breakfast you will have problems.

Types of food of Dinner & breakfast are too similar

Should have kids menu or kids food. There was no kid foods even though it was written kids friendly environment. The staffs were not friendly(on dining hall) as expected when it is compared with Japanese hospitality level. Other than this, all were super smooth.
