Traveling as a family of three, the triple room was perfect, especially since the hotel is right across from the train station – incredibly convenient after a long day. There's one indoor and one outdoor hot spring bath; I assume it's just hot water as I didn't smell any sulfur. There are no shops near the hotel, but you can take a one-stop train ride to Lawson to grab some food.

Nice little hotel, 3 minutes from the station. Great location, and it has an onsen. Breakfast is typical Japanese fare. Some rooms face the train tracks, but it wasn't a problem for sleeping.

The location is convenient for transport, but there are no basic amenities nearby. It would be better to book a hotel with breakfast and dinner included. The shops around close too early, and there's basically nowhere to eat or go. The nearest convenience store is also more than a ten-minute walk away.

Old, but comfortable! Didn’t get many options for our days, but chose this one for location. We were first ones at all attractions cause went directly from hotel in the morning. Breakfast was good and onsen was great

If you're looking for convenience, this is the place. It's situated right by Gora Station. The trade-off is the train noise, which starts around 6 AM and stops at 10 PM, so keep that in mind if you're a light sleeper. Both the lobby and the hot spring (onsen) are on the B1 level. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet as there were many options to choose from. One thing to note is the central air conditioning system in the guest rooms.

Service from the staff is excellent. As the period we go is a cold season, there is no aircon running in the hotel. They provided us with a standing fan upon our request. Hotel is only 2mins walk away from Gora station!

2 mins from Gora station. Highly recommended for short stay & with low expectations of Onsen. Because the hotel is very close to the train tracks, wear ear buds to reduce the noise when sleeping. No complimentary water bottles & snacks provided.

Great location. Just right in front of the Gora station and bus stops are just right outside the hotel. Very convenient location to every parts of hakone. The furnishing in the room and hotel seem old but cleanliness wise is acceptable though not fantastic in Japanese standard. We purchased the dinner as there are no restaurants open past 8pm except restaurant in hotels. JPY3800 per pax is considered expensive as the quality of food is just so so but some alcohol drinks are provided. May be that’s the reason for this price
