Rakuten STAY properties in Hakone

Great stay at Rakuten Stay Atami! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was very convenient, though I hope the vending machine on the 2nd floor could offer a wider variety of food options.

This is the gem of our hotel stay. You probably need to drive as it's not too easily accessible otherwise. There's not much food options nearby, although there's the usual 7-11, Lawson's in nearby driving distance. I like the private onsen in room. I was surprised to even find a sauna inside the room. The room even provide you with a translation device which you can bring along for your daily use. There's washing machine, cooking equipment, detergent (laundry and cutlery) provided. It's really very well thought of. There's also a 3D garden with birds and water sound. Truly amazing experience. Car parking space is sufficient, there's also car electric charging. A good start to our Japan holidays. Highly recommended.

I made a reservation for 8 university students. It was a beautiful house just like the picture and it was great! ! The kitchen was fully equipped with all the utensils, so I didn't have any trouble cooking. I was also surprised that there was a hot plate that you could use to make crepes. There was only a shower room on the first floor, but there were two bathrooms, so it was okay for a large number of people, and there were 5 beds. I was very satisfied with the ability to connect the projector to my smartphone and play live footage and my favorite MV. I would like to stay for another month. Thank you very much for the wonderful accommodation.

This hotel is really great, and the view from the window is absolutely stunning – I had a super comfortable stay! It's perfect for unwinding after a day trip to Hakone, and then enjoying some drinks in the evening. The minibar is well-stocked. My only minor complaint is that early check-in isn't possible, and there's no luggage storage on-site. If you need to store your bags, you can use the paid lockers at the nearby station.
