Ember Lodge - Hakuba

Best stay!! All staff were so friendly and attentive. My Partner and I will definitely be back next season!

My partner and I had the most amazing time at Ember Lodge in Hakuba! The staff were so welcoming and the service was incredible. Mike and Leo organised a pick-up and drop off service for us. Breakfast cooked and served to us each morning with an option for a cooked dinner as well which was delicious. The location was perfect too, only an 5-10min walk to the ski lifts. Already looking to book another trip here!

Home at Hakuba Got to the place pretty late and was expecting to just ramen in myself but I was welcomed by Mike at the parking lot to pick my luggage to my room! Thankful to have Leo and Mike to cook BBQ for me! Dinner was just next level❤️ great stay that feels like HOME! Thanks to Mike recommendation, my intinery is set for the next 2 days !

We loved our stay at Ember Lodge and Mike is the ultimate host. We went as 2 families and Ember was perfect for a group. Mike was an awesome communicator and bonus tourist guide when I was contacting him from NZ. The lodge is a 3 star lodge so accommodation isn't flash but comfortable and warm with ensuites for some rooms. We rated the breakfasts every morning and the short walk to the ski field and Escal plaza for a bus. Mike even recommended another ski area (when we had a car) which was far less busy than other fields and was one of our favourite days in the powder. We chose to eat in for 4 nights and Leo and team provided great food at excellent prices. Also great to have a bar and small living room for all on site plus drying room for ski gear. Overall, this was good value and especially good for a group of people. Thanks Mike ( and Leo and team) for such a wonderful stay.
