My trip was very disappointing this time, and the hotel's service was terrible. One of the amenities they offer is a shuttle service for guests to and from the JR train station. On June 26th at 3 PM, I took their shuttle to the JR station. I had a reservation for them to pick me up from the same JR station at 5 PM. However, by 5:17 PM, their hotel shuttle still hadn't appeared. I called the hotel to inquire, and they told me it was a human error and they hadn't arranged a shuttle. I was extremely angry at the time. It's not even peak season, and they don't have many guests, yet they still managed to overlook my booking. This is truly unacceptable. They didn't offer any compensation whatsoever. Absolutely unacceptable.

Maybe it was the off-season, but the hotel upgraded our room, which was great! There are no restaurants nearby, so we opted for the hotel's buffet dinner. The variety of food was decent, but the taste was just so-so. The hot spring, however, was excellent!

I've stayed here several times now. It's one of the best hotels in Hakuba. The reception staff are very helpful, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel itself is also very clean.

I stayed here alone and really enjoyed my trip. The whole hotel had a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere, allowing me to relax and unwind surrounded by Hakuba's nature. Stayed late June to see the stunning Itawake view. No skiing, just soaking in Hakuba’s nature. Hotel was peaceful, surrounded by trees — perfect for relaxing walks. Staff were friendly and super helpful. Room was clean, a bit small for what we booked. Breakfast was okay, mix of Japanese and Western. The onsen was the real highlight — so refreshing after a day out. Even without snow, Mominoki was a great base. Cozy, quiet, and welcoming. Would stay again.
