The front desk service is excellent, very polite and thoughtful, kind and patient, and will patiently explain the conditions of the ski resort.
The food is very good. There are many kinds of breakfast food. The soup is different every day. Dinner is added when you check in. There are rice, beef hot pot, and pig hot pot to choose from. All three taste first-class.
The room is clean and well-organized, and the space is spacious. If you need towels, disinfectants, or paper towels, you can ask at the front desk and they will replace them immediately.
The location is convenient, there is a ski equipment rental shop nearby, and the ski resort is only a few minutes' walk away. There is a place to store ski equipment in the hotel, which can be reached through the other main entrance. (But it’s a 30-minute walk from the nearest 7-11)
The hotel has a hot spring sauna, and there just happened to be no one there several times I went there. The experience was very peaceful and quiet, which was great!
Highly recommended!

The location of the hotel is very good. It is very close to the cable car station. You can also enjoy the cable car while having breakfast. The portions of breakfast and dinner are just right but not too filling. The way into the hotel is a little small and you need to pay attention to it, otherwise it is easy to miss it.

There is no service to speak of. But the staff are very enthusiastic. The transportation is very inconvenient, and there is no pick-up service. The nearest bus station needs to be booked and ticketed, otherwise you can't take the bus. It takes 2 kilometers to get to the tram station, and it is a mountain road. There is no taxi service, and no taxi will pass by. You can only call a taxi on Uber. It is just very close to the ski resort, which is suitable for people who like skiing. The outdoor room of the hot spring is very small, just two or three people can. The dinner is OK, but the quantity is not large. The breakfast is buffet style, normal, not bad.

Advantages: Good service attitude! There is an outdoor hot spring! Just a few minutes walk to Iwatake Ski Resort!
Cons: Breakfast/dinner were very average! The room is small and there is no basic equipment such as a hair dryer! If you don’t have a car, it’s inconvenient! You need to drive to the nearest convenience store nearby!

The dinner was delicious and the service attitude of the staff was good. However, there was no hair dryer in the room, but the price/performance ratio was very good. There is a public hair dryer in the bathhouse, which can also solve the problem. And there are no towels and bathrobes.

Хорошое место, особенно понравился онсен, он условно бесплатный, платишь только сбор за весь период проживания - 1500 йен, после катания посидеть в онсене - очень круто

We really loved our stay here for 5 nights in February. Cozy, friendly and a super well organised set up for skiers and boarders (including arrival pick up and drop off from bus stop). We had a 6 person family traditional room for only 2 of us, so lots of space and the ability to sleep on doubled up futons, which was fine for us. Our western frames aren't made for easily getting up and down on the floor, but we made do, and the cozy tatami mats, plus mountain view, table, TV and great heating were totally worth it. The two main draws for here were location and onsen in the building. While not entirely ski out (ski in could work with enough speed and snow conditions), a 2 minute skate-ski and 3 minute road walk put you at the base of the gondola. At the hotel uou could buy a lift card with 1 day on for Iwatake, then top up online each day for any resort (use the number on the front of the card). Huge drying room - the hotel was fully booked and still lots of space, plus warm dry boots every morning! The hot spring bath is kept super clean in great working order and temperature, but this also depends on the other guests (ie leaving things open, not washing first). The indoor and outdoor bathing is chlorinated, but amazing to soak the muscles at the end of a day on the slopes. Five shower stations, enough space for 5+ people per onsen and sauna, but rarely busy. I loved it and it's a definitely a big draw to come back. My only feedback is the women's outdoor onsen is near the boiler and with wind there was a fuel smell. But I could live with that to enjoy snow falling all around while soaking in the lovely hot water. We brought our own food as we're vegan, but those eating with the halfboard package were very complimentary about the food and service. No food to buy onsite, but there is a vending machine with soft drinks, beer and hottish coffee and tea in bottles. If eating out, there are some places about 20 minutes walk in Iwatake Shinde, but you need to book restaurants and taxis early. Great lunch options at the top of the slopes also.
