I checked in earlier today. I just realized that if I cancel this booking and rebook it it cost half as much and I might just do that. This is a real disappointment. I nearly killed myself getting out of the shower. The tub is 3 feet high and there is no safety bath mat in the tub shower. They only tell that is offered is a hand towel one there are no washcloths provided. There are no telephones in the room so you cannot call the reception area. I finally reached them by calling a different Premier Inn and was sent to them told him my issues and he said for me to come down and get them. I’ve been traveling all day and I told him I didn’t wanna come down and why couldn’t you bring them up? I’m paying 1000 pounds for nine days here and this is a real rip off .

Good location with all the facilities needed, have to give a special shout out to Ali and Zashan. Absolutely fantastic guys. Talkative and down to earth. Made our Experiance all the better especially with their vast knowledge of Halifax itself. Would recommend to everyone wanting a good stay with fantastic staff.

Travelled to premier inn for business. Was served in the restaurant by a young girl called ebony. Have to say this girl went above and beyond in her job especially under pressure with massive partied to cater too. Can’t complain give this girl a pay rise!

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a meal plan, so had our evening meals in the Beefeater hotel. Our waitress Ebony was absolutely brilliant both the nights that we were there for. She answered all the questions we had about what’s around the city and made sure our food and experience was the best possible. She was very chatty and smiley and made our experience much much better!!

The location of the hotel is great for accessing Halifax centre. There is no free parking on site but does sit right next to a multistorey carpark that has plenty of space (£12 for 24hrs). The room itself was comfortable but the only downside was the noise - the hotel sits on a very busy, large traffic island and is also next to the ambulance station exit which means through the night the traffic noise and sirens was constant. Better sound proofing in the rooms that are facing the road would have helped with a better night's sleep. The biggest let down was the breakfast. Served over the beefeater, we opted for a slightly later breakfast (09:30 where the breakfast ends at 10:30) and really would expect the same level of service and food as the earlier slots. Self service foods had not been restocked at all, very limited fruit offering, leaking coffee machine, no brown bread. We opted for the cooked to order cooked breakfast and despite it being cooked to order, when it arrived, it was cold. Bacon was overcooked to the point of it being unrecognisable, beans and eggs were already cold when served to the table. Top tips: take ear plugs and probably avoid breakfast if you like it cooked!

I have been coming here for a few months now, and stayed many times. It’s quite simply the best Premier Inn you can stay in. Always guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome, clean and spacious room and a good nights sleep. I will definitely staying here again. There is a new girl Ebony waiting on, she's a delight with a happy smile, and good all round manner. Dave

I stay at the Premier Inn Halifax Town Centre every time I come for Business. It is a modern, comfortable hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful if you need them. They remember you, greet you, etc. The room is comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is always superb. I will choose to stay here again on my next business trip.

Good night's sleep, the bed was really comfy as usual for a premier Inn, and the room was a decent size with plenty of natural light. Breakfast was very good, with quick and attentive service from the server, who I think was called Samantha. She was lovely and friendly and made sure that we'd had plenty to eat before we left. Would definitely stay here again, as the location was very convenient in the centre of Halifax.
