Radisson Blu Hotel, Ha Long Bay

The room didn't quite live up to my expectations; it only had a partial view of the bay. I checked in around 3:30 PM. After seeing the room, I wasn't happy with it and called the front desk. They told me that if I wanted to change rooms, I'd have to wait two hours, meaning until around 5:30 PM, and I wouldn't be able to use any of the room's facilities during that time. Seriously? A hotel this big and no other rooms available to switch to? 😂 Guess guests are supposed to lie on the floor while waiting for a new room. The room also didn't have automatic curtains. Overall, a really bad experience.

The hotel environment is great and very new. However, during my stay in the summer, the hotel staff seemed overwhelmed, and the lobby was full of waiting guests.

Everything was perfect, the room was clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of it. The breakfast selection was varied, and my child absolutely loved it. Both pools were open, but the outdoor one was a bit chilly, so we opted for the indoor pool instead. The sauna costs extra. There's a 1 million VND deposit required at check-in.

The beach is very close, and it's just a 300-meter walk to places to eat. The breakfast was great, and the room was lovely. You can see the sea view right from your bed. It's perfect for couples.

I recently had the opportunity to experience a stay at Radisson Blu Ha Long and was quite impressed. The hotel is still relatively new, so everything from the lobby and rooms to the facilities is very modern, clean, and meticulously maintained. The design is luxurious, and the bay view is absolutely stunning, especially watching the sunset in the evening – it's incredibly relaxing.
