Ha Long Essence Classic Hotel

Just one night in this place; the room had plenty of space and the bathroom was very nice and clean. Just something to note: I booked this place because it appeared available on the app, when I arrived the hotel was closed due to the tet, a little bit of pressure as it was late at night; but, one guy from another hotel (within the same hotel company), opened up the hotel for me and my partner. It was a very weird experience, in the morning I talked with the hotel through whatsapp and told me I can message them as soon as I arrive, there would be somebody at reception. Anyway, they solved the situation at the end.

I visit out of season do hotel was very quiet so was able to get upgrade with sea view. Room had plenty of space, very big bed but look like room was not ready, bedside lights was not connected, tv not connected and when connected no tv station (it was not a problem but why have a tv). Did not have breakfast.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly. The location is close to the beach,gym and all the local amenies and nightlife. The rooms are of a high standard. Trips around Halong Bay cruises can be arranged by the helpful staff. Shuttle service to and from the airports can be dealt with efficiently by the hotel staff.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated with ensuite bathrooms. The hotel has a variety of Western and Vietnamese food. It is ideally situated near the beach in a quiet street off the main road. Highly recommended.
