Wyndham Garden Legend Halong

The hotel is surrounded by construction sites, and they were still working late into the night. I wonder if the Vietnamese government has no regulations for noise or construction site management. The workers were quite diligent and only stopped after midnight. The front desk staff were very good; they helped me arrange a car so we could comfortably go to the cruise the next morning. It turns out Tuan Chau Port isn't right next to the hotel. So, if you're taking the Pioneer cruise, be aware of that.

Great location, just a 5-minute walk from the port. They have a pool and spa, and the bedding is pretty good – you can always count on a chain hotel for quality. There's a famous restaurant nearby, but you need to make a reservation. Also, there's another Wyndham hotel very close by, so be careful not to mix them up!

The hotel reception offers services in Chinese, English, and Vietnamese. The location is excellent, right by the sea and very close to the beach. The rooms are spacious and feel clean, and the staff are very polite. It was a pleasant stay.

Apple Maps' navigation is incorrect. There are two Wyndham hotels, about 700 meters apart. One has 'Garden' in its name, and the other doesn't. However, even when you input the 'Garden' Wyndham into Apple Maps, it directs you to the one without 'Garden'. Additionally, most of the front desk staff on duty have poor English, which can easily lead to misunderstandings or getting lost. On the plus side, this hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the cruise terminal, which is very convenient.

The staff were incredibly patient, and the Halong Bay cruise offered by the hotel was significantly cheaper than what external travel agencies charged. The bellboy also spoke Chinese, which made communication at this hotel very smooth.
