Our 30th wedding anniversary was made truly unforgettable thanks to the incredible team at Hera Grand Luxury Cruise. We originally booked a Studio Room on the Hera Classic, but to our delight, we were upgraded to the Heaven Suite on the Hera Grand. At 60m², this is the highest category room, featuring a massive private terrace and a stunning bathtub. It was pure luxury from start to finish.
The Anniversary Surprise
The attention to detail was heartwarming. Upon checking into our suite, we were greeted with a free bottle of wine and a bed beautifully decorated with rose petals. It was the perfect romantic touch to kick off our milestone celebration.
Fine Dining Excellence
One of our favorite aspects was the food. Instead of the standard buffet you find on many cruises, Hera serves fine dining meals. The quality, presentation, and intimate atmosphere of the seated service were far superior and much preferred for a luxury experience.
Our Guide: Mr. Winters
A huge shout-out to our guide, Mr. Winters! His knowledge of the bay was impressive, but his great sense of humor really made the trip. He kept us laughing and engaged throughout every excursion, making the history and scenery come alive.
Excursions & Activities
The excursions were expertly planned and high-energy. Whether we were exploring caves or soaking in the views of the karst mountains, the pace was perfect—so perfect, in fact, that time flew by way too fast! We wished we could have stayed on board for another week.
Practical Tips:
Payment: While drinks are not included in the base price, the ship accepts credit cards, making it very easy to settle your tab at the end of the journey.
The Suite: If you have the chance to book (or upgrade to) the Heaven Suite, do it. The terrace views are world-class.
