I booked a room with a sea view – why doesn't anyone mention that the Valley Beach club is right on the beach, making it impossible to relax? It's a huge disco with a big stage and multi-kilowatt sound system. From 7 PM to 2 AM, even with the windows closed, the bass will pound through your head. I understand it's not the hotel's fault; everyone around suffers. The staff was accommodating and provided a room with a mountain view instead, which I appreciate. The rooms themselves are quite worn out and definitely not new. The pool is dirty. Overall, I don't recommend this hotel.

This is a great hotel, offering excellent value for money in Vietnam. The service is fantastic, and the swimming pool is quite large. Ha Long is definitely worth staying in for a few extra days to enjoy the slow pace of this charming town.

I would like to commend Dat from the reception desk for his helpfulness in finding a lost item which is very important to me. I found it after and it was with me and it dropped in my bag. Dat has been very patient and I would like to thank him for his service! I would definitely come back again to stay next time.

Our stay at Novotel was fantastic. We truly enjoyed the entire experience.
The room was very comfortable, and we had a great rest throughout our stay. The view from the hotel was beautiful and very relaxing, which made the trip even more enjoyable.
Overall, it was definitely worth the price, and we would gladly come back again.

Revisited Novotel in December 2022. The crew is as friendly as ever, the room is well-kept and comfortable, and the pool is conveniently located on the first floor, just off the lobby. Everything about my stay was satisfying.
