Vinpearl Resort & Spa Ha Long

The hotel was excellent. The staff the facilities and the room were of a very high standard. There were however a few faults. When a restaurant is said to be for adults and older children, then why were babies crying and smalll children running around. Like hotels the world over, not enough sun loungers around the pool. In the room, we had a king suite, there was no hand towel in the second toilet and the knob for the shower was a little difficult to work as it came off in your hand. I think special praise should go to all the staff who all were attentive, efficient and friendly.

Vinpearl Halong truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service felt warm, thoughtful, and genuinely world-class. We were incredibly grateful to be upgraded to a room right at the center of the top floor—and the view was simply unreal. Waking up to the stunning pool below and the breathtaking limestone formations surrounding the bay felt like living inside a masterpiece. Every detail of our stay was handled with care, making the entire experience feel seamless and indulgent. Thank you for turning what was already a beautiful destination into something even more unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back.

I had a truly enjoyable day at this island hotel. The resort atmosphere makes it a perfect escape, and the experience felt both relaxing and refreshing. One highlight was the breakfast, delicious, well-prepared, and a great way to start the day. Combined with the overall service and setting, it felt like excellent value for money. This stay offered not only comfort but also a memorable resort experience that I would gladly recommend to others seeking a peaceful getaway.

Nice place on an island. You are staying in a castle. the portion of food for room service is large in size & 2 person can share it… ferry service though and from the island is half hourly per trip and it runs 24 hours…

Great place to just enjoy the beach and hotel facilities! We were lucky to be there (end Nov) when there was hardly anyone else around so we literally had the whole place to ourselves. The only downside is the daily buffet serves pretty much the same food so after a few meals it gets boring. To get out of the island, you will need to take a ferry but luckily some food options are available on the mainland, within walking distance of the ferry terminal. Overall, I would say a solid 8/10!

A lot of guests with little kids. Quite troublesome to travel via ferry to go in and out of hotel. The beach, pool, outdoor area was very nice.

The hotel is magnificent and pristine. Staff are wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful. I cannot praise them enough for the work they do. We booked an Executive Suite and it was exactly described, very spacious and well appointed. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced. Excursions and airport transfer easily organised by the staff in minutes. Unfortunately our stay coincided with a large Indian wedding which occupied a lot of the hotel. The Bayview buffet restaurant was off limits to non wedding guests meaning breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets were served in the other 2 restaurants and while they were both beautiful places to eat, I felt we were locked out of the "heart" of the hotel. Certain parts of the hotel grounds were also being used for wedding events and their DJ and music was loud when trying to relax by the pool. However, nothing prepared us for the all-night party that took place last night. Seeing as it was our last evening and we had a 24 hour travel day today, we decided to have an early night. We were initially woken by very loud music well after midnight and it continued ALL night long....the volume reduced slightly just before 6am!!!!!! The hotel is horse-shoe shaped and this event was held outside near the pool so the sound was amplified by the building itself. Certainly not what we signed up for. We feel the hotel should have informed us earlier about the event and at least we could have made an informed decision on whether we wished to stay there or not. I feel we were deceived and didn't really receive the full benefits of this amazing resort.
