Pier 36

Lovely little hotel/guest house looking out to the sea. Our room had a great view of the harbour and lighthouse. The room decor is lovely. Very clean. Nice toiletries. The staff are all really friendly. The "small" breakfast is anything but, and very tasty. We also had lunch and dinner, both delicious. The wine was lovely and their own label on the bottle was a nice touch. This place has a great atmosphere both inside and out. We met locals and visitors while staying there, all very friendly. This place is great value for money for both the bedrooms and their food. My 1 small critiscim is that I had an espresso Martini cocktail which I didn't really enjoy. A minor detail..can't wait to return to this lovely accommodation by the sea

Lovely place Great location. Room with beautiful view overlooking the harbour. Room had everything i needed. Parking available at the back but there was free parking on the street which was fine. The pub was nice and very authentic. Restaurant could do with some improvement food wise but was ok. Definately worth a visit highly recommended.

Lovely break in Pier 36. Great accommodation and lovely bar/restaurant

Great stay for what we needed. Only problem was our room was above the bar at the front of the pub, and not ideal for our 5yr old 🙈

Lovely stay. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We had a triple room which was fine, comfortable beds, amazing views to the front over the harbour. The bathroom was clean but maybe needs a little tlc. We weren't aware until two days before our stay that filming for Hope Street was happening, so couldn't go into the pub or restaurant at all, which was disappointing as we enjoy the food and atmosphere there. Ate in Harbour and Company instead and the food and service were excellent. Breakfast was in pier 36, which was very good. So many young staff who are so well trained, friendly and efficient. Overall a great stay - hopefully next time we're back we'll have access to the restaurant.

Had our golden wedding anniversary meal at Pier 36 and it was 1st class. With a party of 24, being able to order off the menu, along with the rest of the restaurant being very busy, very impressed. A small room, separate from the main restaurant, was very well decorated for us and was a perfect size for our party. The food was good, the service was excellent and the menu was extensive and varied. Everyone commented on how the service was very professional and attentive, without being overbearing. Would I recommend Pier 36, not just for a function, but with friends and family for a meal, 100% yes. Thanks to Sarah and the team for an excellent evening at Pier 36.
