Hotel Continental Hamburg Hauptbahnhof

ood location near to Hamburg main station. Check in was slow as there was only one old senior lady at the counter who kept talking to the guests in front of me and told me 5 times “just a moment…” The she left at 3pm and change shift to a young man who was much more efficient and friendly. My room was dark and smell funny but the bathroom is clean. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast was same every day. Restaurant staffs are nice. Would recommend only if you need to be near the train station.

The hotel’s only advantage is its location near the central station. Other than that, the experience was very poor. The hotel is old, poorly maintained, and has terrible soundproofing. I even found hair under the bedsheets, which clearly indicates inadequate cleaning. More seriously, after I had already paid by credit card, I received a late-night notification of an unexplained attempt to charge my card again. The front desk later denied any record of this and offered no apology. This raises serious concerns about hygiene, professionalism, and trustworthiness. Not recommended.

Nice hotel in the middle of the city, right next to the central station. Clean and fresh, and the breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our 2-night stay here and i wouldn’t mind staying here when visitibg Hamburg again. Worth knowing, the hotel has 2 small elevators, one of which was closed for repairs causing long waiting times(especially around breakfast times) if you cant use the stairs for some reason.

Great little hotel across the road from main station so percent for anyone needed access to trains or airport. Plenty of places to eat around around. Breakfast like always in germany is very good Highly recommend

Not the best, but affordable price. The best for 1 night, very close to the train station.

Best thing was location. Right across the Hamburg Central Station and less than 2 mins of walk. Close to lot of restaurants, super markets, bus stops, airport train etc. The hotel itself was decent enough and cheap for the days I booked. They had a simple breakfast spread which was still nice for the total cost included in the room. It looks a bit old from interiors but maintained well in terms of cleanliness. If you are looking for a hotel for close accessibility, you can consider this.
